Make your own bread
WAAAAY cheaper in the long run, and usually healthier.
One thing I found, and still find, bizarre, is the cost of some groceries in America, when everything else is so cheap. Bread is about 50p to 1ukp for a fancy loaf in the UK. You could get the equivalent of WonderBread for about 12pence a loaf (25 cents) which is very close to what it costs to make.
Ingredients for a good, wholewheat loaf are around 25 cents, depending on the quality of flour you use.
