I spoke with a bunch of Cal-Fire workers today. They are leaving the area in droves, and very few replacements coming in. That's always a good sign. I am hoping that the fire is gone by next week.

So, I wasn't sure if I could make this event (again) but it looks like the planets aligned.
So I registered.
Planning on departing tomorrow and camping/kayaking/fishing at either Lewiston Lake (again) or possibly Trinity Lake (now that it's "fuller").
Don't have a room reserved, but may just park the trailer at the mobile park near the brewery.
Probably gonna be the CT125 again.

You might want to rethink the follow up plan Butch.
The Park fire is moving north with Shingletown being evacuated starting yesterday.
Even if the fire doesn't reach Mineral, the smoke will be very thick.
I drove (I5) down from Oregon yesterday. Got into the smoke around Mt Shasta City and we finally got out of the smoke around the 505 intersection. It was too smoky to see the actual fire smoke columns rising (from I5 anyway).

I was gonna let you know that I'll be doing some easier trail riding out of Weaverville that you would be welcome to join me on.
An Ebike and the CT125 might match up well there.

Hey - I'm that guy but I need to bow out. When I called, Liam answered and mentioned I had 4 rooms under my name. I don't think people are booking under my name but wanted to make sure there wasn't some rally workings that might be grouping people under a common infrastructure.
