How would you change MotoGP for 2012 & beyond if you could?

-No fuel limits
-4 factory bikes per factory. Doesn't have to be the same team.
-Bring back tabbaco sponcers

there is tobacco sponsors in motogp, well, one

the reason is due to euro laws, nothing motogp could do

Right there is one but most people dont know it. They do have more money than GOD!!!

Euro laws do effect them but... that's what's not preventing them. Half the country's they race in, they can run their flags. I believe it's Dorna that said they couldn't run their flags at all but they are more than welcome to sponcer a team:laughing.

its not dorna at al. its the euro TV broadcast laws. motogp is not preventing them, its legal issues regarding televised tobacco ads

1000cc, with pretty much no restrictions on format. Remove restrictions on fuel capacity. Make horsepower cheap and easy. Let people try crazy (rotary, turbine-hybrid) formats if they want to.
No traction control. Between that and basically unlimited power, the combination of (spec) tire limits and rider skill become the limiting factors - should make for much more exciting racing and will concentrate all of the development on chassis performance and weight (especially gyroscopic) reduction.

Deregulate everything and add steroids.

1000cc
91 octane gas
Spec ECUs (which limit to 16krpm and no TC, otherwise fully tunable)
215Kg bike & rider minimum weight

if anyone remembers, a few years ago roadracing world did an awesome article on what if the only rules in motogp were it required two wheels...

honda, kawi, and zook responded. honda actually responded with some crazyness...two responses with full drawings and ideas...

the first one was a similar bike to what you see now, but with fully active electronic suspension, on the fly changing wheel base, a competely different style of frame and shit. it was wild.

then they also had one that actually had the wheels side by side with an arm extenting outward that the rider layed down on, using a gyroscopic motor to keep the arms tilt controleled and side to side

kawi responded with what looked like a train. a stream lined bike with two halves..that rotated to lean, with a turbo charded 2300cc engine...

We need as few of restriction as possible.
500cc two stroke or 1000cc four stroke. Moto2 needs to go to 250cc two stroke or 500c four stroke. You can see what Moto3 should be.

No restrictions on fuel, testing, tires, weight, or electronics.

Assembly line parts are allowed.

Not a detailed list.

I'd love to see a run what you brung class, only rules being 2 wheels.

That is what prototype racing should be.

Joe Bar One in France has almost no rules and is completely Run What Ya Brung.

Apparently the racing is on par with taking a nap in a hammock as far as excitement goes.

If you added factory millions to that mix, it is hard to believe it would improve.

And WSBK, no offence AMA but I miss those races :|

yeah me too...superpole was so dope to watch at the bottom of the 'screw. yes, bring back the 4-day Motorcyle Classic weekend, but with AMA, WSBK and GP. heck, make it 5 days.
