HTC One

I like the one too, and choose the S4 simply because of expandable memory and removable battery.

My only gripe about the one is that when you put it on a table, it doesn't lay flat. It rocks back and forth.

That's funny, I never would have thought to put it on a table to see how sturdy it is before buying it, but I would probably return it later if it rocked back and forth.

The lack of expandable memory and removable memory are a big downside for me as well.

It has a curved back, it's meant to do that.

And do you really need more than 64gb??? ;)

memory is probably not the worse thing in the world, but the removable battery is. There are times when I don't have time to recharge my battery (on the go) and I like to be able pop in a fresh battery as needed.

Pete got his free on some AT&T rebate deal but I don't know how. It was delivered last night and I haven't had a chance to play with it yet.

It's my understanding that HTC plan on making the bootloader completely locked soon. If that's true, fuck them

Get a mophie charging case man! I use that on my iPhone and I carry an isound in my backpack for charging. Even if I had removeable batteries I wouldn't get extra batteries but that's just me. The isound has a 16,000mah battery, I use it to charge my iPad and beats pill mostly. So far I haven't had to charge it in the middle of the day. It gets reasonably good battery life.

But to each their own, I'm a fan of non removeable batteries because it allows a larger capacity batter to fit in a smaller space.

I loved my HTC Evo when I fist got it, then they pushed out a firmware update that torched the bluetooth capabilities. Sprint was a disaster to work with (yeah I already know Sprint blows) but the update came from HTC, not Sprint. That said, I'd be very careful of accepting firmware updates from them 'cuz it's not like you can roll it back.

Looks like htc is no longer doing the $250 deal :(. My coworker was trying to get one today and couldn't.

I got mine a couple weeks ago, love the thing. You can get it for $125 with att contract from Costco.

BTW, LTE is smoking depending on where you are. Sadly, no LTE at my house, but I was in Davis last week and got this:

Holy shit! Almost 60mbps!? That's fucking insane. The most I've ever seen is 38mbps in San Jose.

So I just set up my htc tv app to control my air conditioner...

That phone does look badass.....I just picked up my Razr prior to it's release though :(

Had an HTC prior though and really liked it.
