Today was a pretty good experience in the Santa Rosa store. The guy there was very helpful and accommodating to my friend and I. My buddy is slowly starting to get some gear together. He's on a budget mind you so it's again, better than no gear. And well, they had a nice sale going.
He got this helmet today for $40:

And these gloves for $20:

Overall, he's happy with what he got and I'm happy for him. He's studying to get his permit while we work on our Project Honda Sabre up and running. Next month will be boots and a jacket. He's a big guy so finding something comfortable for him will be challenge. Will we find it at Cycle Gear? Who knows?!
Sidenote: I tried a few leather jackets and I wasn't too impressed with the quality of the leather on the Bilt line and Street & Steel.
I wish they had this in stock so I can try it.
