I HATE Apple!

Apple is the king of shovelware. They included Safari for PC in one of their iTunes updates :rofl

yah it's true, some time ago I got an update to install Safari for PC... with my Quicktunes update!!! WTF? :wtf

You mean like it already does? :twofinger

[]

no it doesn't , last time I plugged in an idevice into a computer, it opened a *separate* folder, where you could put files---but then they wouldn't be accessible from the device when it starts.
Now *that* was rad for its uselessness. Who knew? You could have an USB stick OR an iDevice but not both!?!?

Those Apple/Itoons converted file names and directory structure make any sense?

That's not what was said. I can, and do, store files in folders on my phone that are accessible from the phone itself...or anything else it plugs in to.

I think anyone would say that iTunes has room for improvement. :laughing

P.S. Don't Steal Music :p

Fine, I won't steal music. I don't steal music. Hell I write and record music and want to sell my own music. I'm REALLY into music.

The iTunes experience sucks, sucks, sucks, sucks, sucks, sucks, sucks. I fucking hate iTunes. Is that clear enough? Fuck Apple's thought process that if I want to have a pleasant user experience it means I'm trying to steal music. Fuck Apple for trying to sell devices and then limiting the number of devices I can use to listen to music. You want to know why people hate iTunes? Because Apple has decided to treat every user as if they are a criminal. Somehow, Apple assumes their user base are too fucking stupid to figure out how to save a file on their own and need every fucking decision made for them by the machine, but are somehow criminal fucking masterminds bent on worldwide music piracy. Fuck that.

I record my own music and find it difficult to get my own songs onto my ipod and my son's ipod. What a freaking clueless pile of fucking shit the whole iTunes experience is.

Merry Christmas, where's the Tylenol?

Jesus...I've been a musician for years and keep my own stuff in my iPod. All you have to do is save it as an mp4 and upload the damn thing. :laughing

Kinda like Windows Phone? Faster & more stable than Lagdroid. :thumbup

Not so much.. My touch screen keeps freezing and requires a forced shut down on a brand new phone.

And it is also why I still buy cd's- I want to have access to the music I paid for after my computer crashes or when I upgrade computers. F you and your cloud, Bill. If I wanted tinny sound quality and someone else holding onto the music I get satellite radio.

Download, burn to CD's. The entire process is still cheaper than buy a CD from a music store.

Yes, very easy. It's what I do.

Then, when I plug my son's ipod into my computer the whole fucking thing freaks out because his library on his ipod is different than mine (he has his own computer). So now I have this ridiculous fucking issue of not being able to synch a device across two computers when all I wanted to do is add a song I wrote and recorded to my son's ipod. Heaven forbid I simply want to transfer a single file over to his device. No, I can't do that because then the song synch would look different becuase his ipod is synched to a different machine and this MUST mean I'm a horrible fucking music thief.

Any reasonable action would be to simply transfer the file rather than having to synch through iTunes, except because of Apple's assumption I'm a thief I can't actually PLAY the file unless I synch with iTunes. Sure I can use their stupid free app to pretend my idevice also acts as a USB drive but I can't actually PLAY the file. I can view it, but playing a music file requires iTunes and let's not forget that Apple wants everyone in your family to have a separate Apple device or three, but let's make sure NONE of them can effectively communicate.

So I can turn on homesharing and transfer the song to his library on his computer but now I've exceeded the number of devices I can authorize.

Jesus fucking Christ, I just wanted to move a song I created onto my son's ipod.

iTunes fucking sucks, and treating your user base as if they are stupid, thieves of both is fucking insulting.

Phone Conversation:

Me: Hi, I'd like to buy the new 5s but I'm not trying to wait in line like everyone else. I'm assuming you're going to be sold out tomorrow, when is the next shipment expected to come in?

Apple Store: "We don't know"

Me: Well what about ordering online? Will Apple allow consumers to order the phones online?

Apple Store: "We don't know that either"

Fuckin worthless.... :facepalm

They don't know what they don't know. The store folks are always last to know. Get over it.

What's stopping you from copying it off your computer to a USB drive? You recorded it, it's your damn music. Give him the thumb drive and let HIM deal with it. Not sure why you feel you have to connect your iPod to his computer.

On what phone? The POS HTC One, with inferior Chinese technology? Wouldn't happen on a Nokia :laughing :twofinger

Seriously? Reviews of the HTC One are fantastic. Maybe I'm missing sarcasm.

I know its an anachronism but just for giggles I got a BBY Z10 4 months ago and am surprised to absolutely love it.

Does everything I want it to do, comes with lightening fast native apps pre-loaded for all the important stuff (docs, music, nav, movies, photo's, social media, books, news-feeds, dropbox etc, etc.) and has been absolutely bomb proof. It seems to be a perfect compromise between the buggy glitchy open Android world and the closed in hell of iDontthinkso. :thumbup

Best of all, my roaming data charges are a fraction of what they would be without Blackberry data services.

It will be a shame if BBY does eventually bite the dust.

iTunes ticks off more people more of the time.

The notion of synching everything is the flaw in their thinking. I think that THEY think its such a great idea, that its not even about making money. They think its cool. But the first thing I do is turn all the synch shit off when it comes to tunes.

The amount of upgrading versions of iTunes is most maddening as well. I sure hope they have slowed down. For a while, everytime I log onto it (beyond just listening to my iPod standalone) they have offered yet another update. Crikey.
