is the DMV motorcycle written test available in Chinese?

Should the test be issued in Chinese?...

Explaining it kills the joke :( no it wasn't auto correct I'm glad one person got it

It's already issued in Chinese for automobiles, which I didn't know originally, so the point isn't really moot. Whether brokenlink was the most offensive in this thread is, though.

Okay, that burn is kinda funny.

Maybe I was giving Smash too much credit, but that was a topical auto-correct!

I blame Sharky.

Ah yes, the topical non-typical auto correct pun. Always good for a chortle or snigger.

Dude your buddies from Taiwan! Legit! I just got back from there! people were so friendly and hell, all the signs were in english (under the characters).

These guys are blowing a lot of bad vibes out.

Relax man. I think it's pretty light hearted for most here. Not personally attacking anyone.

I speak & understand Japanese fairly well but have very limited reading ability, and I can still guess what this means, so I understand your point...

"Don't sh*t yourself while giving a handjob" or something like that.

What did I say that was offensive?

What offended Whammy?

The fact your made your buddy out to be better than most by saying he rides track days, and makes more money than most.
When you gave us that BS it was flame on.. but we didn't flame you as hard as you could have.
If he makes so much he obviously has the means, and intellect to learn the English language??
Ya could of left that out ,and all would of been fine right?

Eliminate all the chest thumping, it would of come off as I know someone who is new to the US wants to take the license test.
Since English isn't his primary language he feels he would do better in his native tongue than English.
Back to the original request instead of how much better he is.

oooooooooooooo my bad

Wtf are you talking about? I think you have me confused with someone else bro. Bro.

Sorry man you were not the offender. It was the OP
I hadn't had my coffee yet!
Apologies!

Holy crap dude, you really should move back to Alabama.

I spent two weeks driving around Italy this past fall. Most of the time, I had no fucking clue what i was doing. I bought some lady gas because i couldn't figure out how to use the machine and we couldn't communicate. I put the receipt in the toll booth and sat there for ten minutes like an idiot until someone came out to help me (the whole time with an italian guy honking and cussing at me).

Not once did someone yell "Learn how to read italian (although I admit I wouldn't have known if they did). I had an international driver's license.

Why is it that us Americans are so arrogant tot hink this way? You come here and you need to learn our language. We go there and we want them to speak english. I am truly starting to hate this country because of the people in it and their idiotic mentality.

Cleqarly the OP can speak and write in english. Somehow, he managed to write the frigging post that you are going "full racist retard" on. Perhaps it's easier for him to take the test in Chinese. Who knows?

This post makes you look really, really dumb, fyi.

To SV2007, I hope you pay no mind to some of these less enlightened remarks...they are just uninformed opinion of someone that never had to experience the hardship of being an immigrant. At the end of the day, I'm sure they meant no harm.

I still remember while growing up 20 years ago in the East Bay, as a 1st generation Taiwanese American, there were people always trying to make you feel as if you are less American or less of a person than they are. Even if your friend were to catch up on his English language at some point, folks like these will always find something wrong to pick on the new guy/gal.

The thought honestly didn't occur to them that, perhaps your friend is in the process of learning English, but he/she needs that license right now just to get around...going to their job, getting groceries...etc.

If your friend needs help studying for the test, have them PM me. I'll do my best to help out...:thumbup

I have been teaching ESL to Taiwanese, Hong Kongers, Singaporeans, Koreans, Japanese, and recently Mainland Chinese for over a decade. I'm happy to help your friend out in passing the test. I have also saved up numerous copies of past DMV tests for my students to "study"! :thumbup

Were those people driving? Because if they were, the word "friendly" isn't what comes to mind when I recall the traffic there!:twofinger

Here's a more accurate translation instead of a literal one:

Go inside a shop if you have to blast a dookie!
