I've heard of cow tipping... but this is just stupid

I have some near me that like to walk around my bike and actually tried to sit on it one day. I had a little "talking to" with them and I think I got my point accross but still make me nervous.

Hope this isn't some stupid new trend

A few weeks ago, I observed a couple of foreign tourists posing for each other on some random Harley that was parked on the street in SF. :wtf

glad the cops got there before crzy dude with a baseball bat went off....

...cuz that woulda been me.

hell, i probably would have only called the cops AFTER i had my way with them...

fuck punk kids. i blame the parents....

kids like that need to be bought a Costco-size box of razor blades if they are that bored. "here ya go lil emo punks, knock yourself out" :rofl

Fuck these punk kids..its a retarded thing to do.

I'm still kinda young and enjoy being mischievous, but nothing that involves someone's personal property.

That's a really shitty thing to do. But I am soooo glad those punks got caught. Nice!

2 great stories with happy endings :applause

normally the kids get away and your left with a pile of crap to deal with. glad it turned out the way it did though even though it was sad through out.

Some dumbfuck Italian tourist did that in front of an HA club house in Noo Yawk a couple years ago and got a couple broken arms as a souvenier. :cool

At their ages, it's not too difficult to understand. Because it was a bike, and we love bikes, its easy to condemn them as imps of Satan, but I think back on the things I did when I was young and I wonder why people didn't attempt to kill me in my sleep.

At age 14 with some friends, we stole a stick of dynamite out of a friend's Dad's shed, tied it to a pretty substantial tree and blew it apart, sending it crashing down on the shed.

two friends of mine rolled a manhole cover down the street, where it ended up smashing into the side of a brand new mercedes.

The list goes on... Luckily I straightened out in my later teens before anyone got hurt, but I've only run into a handful of teenagers in my life that I would consider more delinquent than I was.

I will always believe that fear does not make a man responsible. The accumulation of property does... and teens basically have nothing...

This guy should be ok. I got rear-ended by a drunk with no insurance. I got his info and sicced the insurance company on him. They got their money and I did not have to pay a dime out of pocket.

Every now and then I'm riding through the City and will notice 5-6 bikes and scooters tipped over on the same street. Sometimes this goes on for blocks in residential neighborhoods. There aren't any covers on most of these bikes and they've "fallen" over in different directions. I can only imagine that they're being tipped over by people and not wind or earthquakes. The one area I'm thinking of is just off of Broadway near a school where I think teenagers go.

It definitely sounds like teenagers. Unfortunately, the kind that will give motorcyclists a bad name when they get their first bikes, but fortunately, the kind that will be the most pissed off when teenagers tip their shiney new ZX-10r over in the street.

:thumbup My thoughts exactly... Comedically enough they were little emo punks... When the insurance company gets ahold of the parents... They will have something to be "emo" about (where did the emo look come from anyways, in my day kids used to beat themselves up for looking like that...)

I hope the parents don't pull some legal ish re: the R1 owner's threats of assault with the bat. IMHO, he should have just boxed their car in, stepped out of his, and told the kids to start shitting a brick because the cops are on their way.

f-that. society is way too puusified these days. shoulda jumped out the car with a machete and started hacking motherfuckers....no questions asked.

Awesome!!

It's kick ass that you managed to catch them and hold them responsible.

I had my then new 2006 GSA parked in front of my girlfriends place in downtown San Jose one night. Around 11 pm I heard the unmistakable sound of a paint ball gun go off. Thinking some teens had probably just paint balled the houses I went outside to see that they had shot my bike around 4 times. There was paint all over the windshield and splattered over the bike. Some frantic cleaning took care of it though. I was super pissed and waited outside in the dark to see if they would come back. Eventually my girlfriend convinced my they wouldn't be back and were probably out in some other neighborhood by then.

Murphy's Law. I went inside and not 10 minutes later I heard a big bang. The assholes had come back and pushed my bike over. All I saw was the rear of their car squealing away in the dark. Lucky my bike is built to go over with minimal damage, but my left pannier was broken and it added a bunch of scratches to the bike. I called the police and they took a report. Unfortunately, since it was dark I didn't see much. :mad

We then moved my bike over to her parents place for the night since she didn't have access to a garage at her place.

It's damn nice news hearing at least some douche bags who did that kind of crap will get whats coming to them.
