Call me surprised too. I was expecting low 40's at best. Granted, I wasn't hammering it, but even a few hours at Carnegie combined with 70-75 mph freeway stints got 50.

Whatever it is, I'll take it. We will see what kind of mileage I return during the sheetiron with all my knick-knacks loaded and thrashing around.

Oh and 2nd gear with the stock ratio really sucks balls offroad on this pig.

Should read, riding a uber tall 350+lb pig off road in 1st or 2nd gear conditions SUCK! :laughing Bike is a great for two track and the desert. I cringe when I have to slow down on it.

Hopefully see you folks on the return trip of the Sheet Iron. Doing trials event Saturday, but I think Daniel and I are going to meet up with participants at Cow Mtn or earlier on Sunday :thumbup
