Jodi Arias murder trial

Goes without saying she's got something wrong. The death penalty isn't for normal people is it?

Depends.

In most states, you could probably argue that it was for normal people, albeit normal people that committed premeditated crimes.

In AZ, it's not just premeditated that puts you on death row, but the unusual/severity of the crime... she seems to be passing with flying colors.

Verdict of the penalty phase. Jurors unanimously agreed they didn't reach a unanimous decision. :laughing
aka hung jury, mis-penalty trail. New penalty trail with new jury starting July.

not sure if logical explanations help, or make it that much more terrifying.

Very true.
Even though abandonment might have been the deep trigger for a total emotional meltdown there is never a "normal" explanation for such a heinous crime.

Concerning the posts contained in this thread involving sexing up the perp. and violence and death-ya'll sound like total and absolute dicks.

I'm shocked...shocked, I say, that there is provocative talk on the internet.

I totally agree. What puzzles me is that Travis had the clues, had severed the relationship, was moving on including a planned vacation with another woman, yet chose to engage in another intimate encounter with her when she showed up, unannounced. It seems he just couldn't let her go either.

I'm not certain it would have made a difference if instead he'd chosen to tell her it was over, to go away, because I'm not convinced the gun was his. I believe it was her's and she might have just shot him while he told her to go away.

Again, I totally agree; however, expecting it to stop it is the same as expecting riders to behave on the road. Maturity takes time. Some will never get there.

:laughing You're really surprised someone made a bad decision about sex?

Also, nice condescending attitude.

Gentlemen-provocation, penis, sex and maturity.
Rarely is this the linear reality.

Actually, yes. Yes I am. Travis' business was people, not widgets. He seemed to posses a unique ability to reach people, inspire and motivate them. This takes human insight. With regard to Jodi, I'm surprised he chose to set that insight aside. Doesn't excuse what she did, but he was in a better place than anyone else to know how unstable she was.
