Jodi Arias murder trial

Yes, history is littered with tales of powerful men making good decisions about women.

The devout Mormon man who falls for the beautiful vixen who acts out all his x-rated fantasies for him

I like how this, along with the entire trope of the "good man falls for beautiful evil bitch" implies that a man isn't responsible for where his penis ends up.

"I don't know man, this smokin' hot woman walked into the room, and all of a sudden, I noticed that my dick was just sort of inside her, you know? It was the strangest damned thing!"

:rolleyes

That was just a synopsis, more or less, of how the media was presenting him :) I'm thinking because it's more sensational when the victim is completely innocent, or worthy of unblemished praise, and the murderer is total evil.

I'm willing to settle on the description. "The guy who was more devout than the average male, and though not a shining example of virtue, was still a tragic victim of a woman who is far more deranged than the average female... x 10" But I don't think that would sell papers or screenplays :)
