Johndicezx9's - 2024 New Bikes, inc Updates & BNG's

Triumph and a new 250? The last one we called a TWAD, that downsized 441 design dual sport in a 250, weak on power, good road holding weight??

Sorry, I was tied into Tiger Cubs, didn't think much for the heavier, new stuff.

The KTM Super Duke R 1390...

The new KTM 1390 Super Duke R celebrates the Duke series’ upcoming 30th birthday with more power, better suspension, and a smorgasbord of subtle refinements. It looks angrier and wilder than ever too, adopting many of the aesthetic tweaks seen on the 990 Duke. KTM 1390 Super Duke R Evo goes a step further, with electronically controlled semi-active suspension.

I saw a 44 Teeth clip on this and they were saying it’s time for a v4 version of the SuperDuke. The v-twin’s 190 hp is already neutered with electronics to make it rideable, why would they need to produce an even more powerful version?

Ruins the look of a bike when they have to install a truck size radiator up front to cool the excessive hp that most will never use.

I’d like to own the above 2024 version some day though. Just wish it had a bigger ass with a bit of storage space under the rear seat.

That beast looks mad as hell. :thumbup

With the modern IMU technology, the bikes have a larger safety envelope than ever before. The rider determines how "neutered" based on how the ride the bike. These bike will give the whole 200+ HP under the correct parameters and man is it fun when it's all done correctly! I love modern electronics on the 1K's.

Just what I've been waiting for. Ducati Diavel for Bentley starting at $70,000.

An edition of 500 units and 50 unique pieces. Inspired by the exclusive Bentley Batur and developed around the technical base of the Diavel V4, it is produced as a limited and numbered edition of just 500+50 units.

In addition to the 500 units of Diavel for Bentley, 50 units of Diavel for Bentley Mulliner will be built to order, reserved to Bentley clients. Together with the Ducati designers, these clients will be able to customize even more their bike.

An exclusive apparel collection will also be offered that seems to be just a helmet and jacket. No official word yet on leather satchels, gold necklaces or low-rise mesh bikini briefs.

^^^ You know the MV Agusta branding team is pissed off. "Goddamnit! We're the Italian two-wheel butt jewelry people. How did we not land a collab with Bentley/"

:laughing

No mesh bikini briefs...? :wtf

Well... then off my Xmas list. :x

Like the Lamborghini Diavel, VW owns Bentley. There never will be any other collaborations, IMO.

Why not Ducati inspired versions of the cars? Be much cooler.

When Ducati first came out with the Multi V4 with the non-desmo "Grandturismo" engine to replace the 1260, I went on a bit of an autistic rant about how the last thing I wanted from a Ducati was something sensible and refined. I love my current Multi Pikes Peak specifically because it's kind of batshit (in spite of being oddly practical), and I bleated to anyone within earshot about how I would have happily kept the 18k maintenance intervals in exchange for another 20 horsepower. I'd hoped that they'd do something really special for the V4 Pikes and give it the Streetfighter engine (with it's higher revline and desmo heads) it it, but I was left disappointed.

And then Ducati was like "okay, fine, here's the silliness you want" and they actually did stuff the Panigale/Streetfighter V4 into the Multistrada V4 RS. Because clearly what the world needs is a 192hp road-only dual sport touring bike.

...for the better part of $40,000...

(I'm still tempted. I'll probably hold off for a couple years and see if this is one of those special editions that depreciates like a rock, like the Superleggera)

I love how they leave the weight out of the specs..!!

I love my PP but can tell that Daddy had his share of donuts compared to my old twin. :laughing

Reading between the lines (and some other reviews) it seems like it's dropped maybe 15lbs from the normal Multi and 10lbs off the Pikes Peak, mostly due to the titanium subframe and a factory lithium battery (it shares the 6lb lighter forged wheels with the Pikes). I doubt it would be that noticeable.

I love my Pikes for how fast it turns and how well it holds the road in spite of it's weight, but it's absolutely a 500lb+ motorcycle.

I agree it handles really well, but when chasing slimmer KTM cousins in the mountains it takes more physical effort to make it do that.

A really long run at that earlier this year actually wore me out and the next morning I ended up with some real nasty thigh cramps from pushing on the tank I guess.

Maybe it is just a new thing :afm199

The 14 in ZX-14 must refer to the 14 gallon exhaust! :wtf
Maybe they made it extra big to make the rest of the bike looks smaller?
I do love this color scheme though.

Kawasaki is celebrating 40 years of NINJA with special paint jobs and BNG's!
