Also, we did this at El Camino, Los Gatos. What a wonderful staff, facility. I have seen too many hospitals, as hava many of you. These guys are awesome. You get to smile.

Getting most of my strength back, up to 13 pushups now, curling 25-30 pounds, pretty happy with the results. Still have some residual nerve tingling in the arms but it seems to be going slowly away.

You're doing more workouts than I am, so keep that sh!t up!! I'm going to start four months of circuit training in January plus some 2xweek swimming pool resistance work to regain strength. Getting out of the Army Reserve was horrible for my physical conditioning.... :teeth

I don't think there is one TDP that checks back protectors. That I know of.
 
OP, I was recently diagnosed with spondylolisthesis. My pain has been excruciating at times but then again I have never been hit in the back by a moving motorcycle.

Well, almost four months later.

Surgery has been postponed until nobody knows due to CV19. Physical fitness regime stepped up a bit. I'm riding bicycle three days a week and doing weights about the same. Up to 25-30 pushups and bench pressing about 80% of my body weight for 15 reps. Pretty happy with the way I have managed to come back into fitness, or even better than I was. Running into tendonitis now in the elbows and have had to cut back on weight on the curls. I remember this happening 25 years ago when I was working with a coach. Too much weight and old tendons is bad bad bad.

Physical symptoms from the neck pretty good, still have the neurological pain and tingling, but it's limited to both wrists and thumbs, thankfully.
 
Improvement. Good to know “ old folks” can improve their/our health.

I am dealing with elbow tendon problems right now but working through them. I might be able to make suggestions once I know more.

Well, sheeit. Surgery is scheduled for about a month from today. I am looking forward to it, not. I've got someone staying with me during convalescence, my Doc says it's not a big deal for someone in my shape ( naturally amazing.)

However, I am not looking forward to many weeks, if not months of convalescence as the bone knits. I spent the last several months seriously working out to get in shape for the forced idleness. Not supposed to lift more than ten pounds for weeks. ughh
 
Ernie, did they prescribe a bone growth stimulator? My surgeon did. I can't really know if it helped, but they are supposed to stimulate the production of bone cells.

That 10lb limit is a real pain. I had that for a while after a surgery. Couldn't even pick up my cat!

Everything weighs 10lbs. (Save the remote and a "12oz beverage")

Well, off to the hospital this AM, trying to get the boner growth stimulus set up so I can have a good experience. :)
