Department store shopping for husbands

A department store opened in New York City that sold men and a woman decides to visit it in search of a husband.
At the store’s entrance, there’s a sign outlining the department store policy.
The first rule states that you can only enter the store once.
There are six floors and on each floor you can choose a husband or elect to move on to the next floor.
You cannot visit a floor more than once other than to leave the building.
The woman visits the first floor.

The woman is about to make her purchase but can't resist moving on to the sixth floor.
There the sign reads:
· You are visitor number 31,456,012 on this floor.
· There are no men here.
· This floor exists as proof that it is impossible to please women.

It does not apply to the same extent for men as women. Women are way more picky. I recently read A book which showed that.
A man reads 10 attributes of a woman and will be with her even if he does not like 5 of them.
Most women will reject a man for just one attribute of the 10, that they don’t like.
Reading that has helped to adjust my thinking about what I can tolerate and what I will not. By the same token, I am also more picky, because women my age are more picky. I’m 62, dating women 50-60.
I really like women and even though my ex treated me poorly, I accept my faults in the relationship and have learned from them and just keep moving forward.

I would go with malcontent over misery. Once enough of us reach misery there is a revolt. But yeah something about the grass being greener over there keeps up pushing.

The reason is that women can afford to be choosy. There are enough candidates for them to play their odds and wait for the one who checks all their boxes. And they have to be careful. That one flaw might be excessive drinking, or a short temper, or inability to hold a job - all of which potentially jeopardize her safety and that of her offspring.

If males across all species could just hook up whenever they wanted, there'd be no such thing as horns or antlers or bright colors or mating calls in the animal world.

Women used to be able to get away with that but, they used to offer different things than they do now. Women used to offer exclusivity, companionship, and traditional gender role child raising. Men used to offer security and be the providers. Now women are so promiscuous at a young age and are no longer offering what a traditional man would consider wife qualities. Why would you want to settle down with a chick and have kids with a woman that’s been riding a bunch of bad boy dick for years till her looks started to fade and now she wants to settle down or the woman who put career first and disregarded everything else and now the clock is ticking before she can’t have kids and the first thing out of her mouth is “do you want kids?” Yeah no thanks. I think things like Tinder and online dating are to blame too because it takes the chase out of today’s courting. Now women just look for the 666(6 foot, 6 pack abs, 6 figure income, aka the unicorn) and they think they can get it whenever they want till, they can’t.

I just broke up with a chick that started letting the crazy out a little too early. I said “ Why would I date you and put up with this nonsense I can hook up with the 20 year old you without commitment? The look on her face was gold when she figured it out.

Absolutely hell, I even bang chicks who are married :laughing. I never said I was the solution or that I’m traditional. I’m also not putting crazy high standards on the people I date. I just want the women who think they can do whatever they want or act like that to know it ain’t happening with me. I’m speaking in general terms and I’m saying I understand the movement and motivations with my replies. Years and years of guys getting rejected makes things like this come to fruition.

In all honesty these men just need to lower their standards. I will never be able to date a super model but I'm not bitter about it.
