Who gives a flying fuckadelic fuck what the fuck Koi does WITH permission from the boss.
This is a guy that's been putting out steady since joining BARF and people slam him on BARF slam him on facebook and generally express their mean spirited bullshit every chance they get.
BARF has needed a NorthBay meet- and Koi arranged one. So it doesn't work for all of you it is at least out there happening regularly. A clique has formed and they're having fun. They also welcome anyone who shows up. Amazingly, they also actually talk to anyone that shows up instead of looking them up and down and going back to there coffee or whatever.
I see "contributor" under the name which generally means someone kicked real $$ down to the forum. I also see "contributor" tags under the name of just about every on that might be one of these "misfits."
Looks like this is about the English language and popularity or lack there of. I think this carp may have cost BARF some fairly decent newbs.

And being a BARF newb doesn't mean someone just started riding so this welcome to BARF "I can tow you and show you how to do it" is a bunch of condescending carp.

Me I like the fish I like why the fish came into the design. If I became a regular rider on Koi's ride I might sport a decal.

WOW! Wish Gwynne showed up about 17 pages ago! Thanks Gwynne! At least one person here gets it! So funny you mentioned the "look you up and down and go back to your coffee" thing as that happened to someone I know today at the Bridge..he was invisible to some regulars standing around..not even a hi as he stood in their faces! I went on a pre-ride today with a few CU sisters and we stopped in Marshall..other bikers already there..I went over to admire their cool Triumph bikes and I walked right over and said hello, told them my name and chatted it up! Now...that's misfit behavior fo sho!


Yeah...just HAD to bring the baby cats in!! LOL! Since I had all the attention..and kitten milk is darn expensive.. didn't seem to help calm the masses though...neither did the fact that I said 100% of the proceeds of the patches will be donated to animal rescue and BARF...oh well!!! Let the cat fights continue!! Brahhhhhhhh!

I have nowhere to stick a decal on my bike..already have my BARF plate on my Gixxer..will have one on teh Bonnie soon...so we all agreed for us..patches would be cool to sport on our gear..ehhhh..works for us..

And yeah Dani..this thread is like fly paper you stuck your hand on to..cannot get it off no matter how hard you try!

Hmm..what I REALLY would love is Indian food at Lotus on 4th..gawd..one of the few things I miss about living in Marin! Yummo!

Hmmm I think an indirect issue here is that since this "misfit" crew is made up of mostly nubs, many probably feel that their "proclaimed" leader is oozing with a little too much sense of entitlement and that the nubs are soaking it right up and further bumping his ego.

I just hope you new riders open up the minds a little. Seeing the way some of you talk about your group is borderline disturbing and honestly, does sound a little cult like or holier-than-thou.

Ride safe and have fun, but don't close up your minds and dwell in this one group. This community is huge, but it already sounds like from some of the new riders they've made up their minds and are sticking to their one band. I hope the new riders in this group can mature out of this thinking process that seems to be growing amongst them.

Actually..you really have it all wrong..we are not just banding together in one tight little group.

What ya all ain't understanding and Miss Happy Hornet really said it best..There was really not alot of representing North Bayer's and NB rides when I came along and Koi came along. I reached out in March as a newbie rider to look for folks here to ride with me..met a few right away who were willing to slow their roll and "tow" me around Napa/Sonoma..more folks in the area started coming out of the woodwork..we formed a breakfast meetup which is really what spawned the start of the "misfits"..just us folks up here north of all the bridges getting together for rides during teh weekdays, weekends, etc. Every time we threw a breakfast up on BARF...we would get new riders coming out..ever expanding our "misfit" crew out here..some come and go..some stick around..we hang together as friends..some of us..but it is an "organic"...growing..expanding circle.

As many of you south, east and all over bay area know...we would all love to go ALL OVER the bay..and some of us do..but long slab rides added to the actual fun ride...well..we can't always do that..so growing a north bay population where we can quickly get together for impromptu rides..well..everyone is doing that..we just decided to add to the fun we have together with a patch to indentify our little group..nothing more serious than that! Wanna ride with us? Great? Wanna patch? No..great..yes...great..we don't care..it's just for fun!

And Koi has no sense of entitlement..by no design of his own..he became our defacto "leader" because we kinda forced him into. He was the only one consistently actually planning rides and routes..and whether anyone went on a ride with him or not..he went out riding. He stepped up to the plate big time for us and continues to do so..so yep...I worship at his feet (Yes..that was me who did that at PLP on Sunday! well..because he planned it for us noobs to keep us safe)

You guys are taking this all wayyyyyy too serious..calling us a cult..and we are all NOT a bunch of noobs..lots of experienced riders ride with us...we are not exclusionary in any way..and we just don't "stick to our own kind" because we don't want to meet anyone else..we just our expanding our little universe first as there is alot to explore up here..SHIT...we have Berryessa as our backyard playground! Weeeeeeee!

Stop calling us a cult, folks..it's a freaking patch that most of you will never see as there won't be many out there in the BARF universe (not yet..our plan to take over the empire of BARF will be happening soon tho! )
