I think Dovi may be behind Ionne, alot
Good call. :thumbup Now, if it just rains and there is no checkered flag for the rest of the season, I think you are on to something.
The rain in Spain falls mainly...
In Malaysia and Texas? What the heck. Well, we know JoLo is set for the wet. And MM continues to look like a wise replacement for the Stoneman.

Who else has the video pass?

I'm wondering if you're able to share and have two devices stream with the same video pass with no issue. I've got people asking me and I'm not sure since I don't never got one.

Hey if you wanna share lmk. We can split the cost. Pm me

Dammit the weather report for Jerez is rain rain rain for the next week or so. This final test is a dud.

we can see tons of changes from the GP13 to that development bike. frame, headstock looks higher and the vertical spars near the swingarm look taller. swingarm, looks longer. exhaust, nothing on this side. tank, maybe farther back or longer and doesnt cover frame. so this is the real GP13. and of course, Pirro was the fastest Duc of the day (though comparing laptimes in these conditions, meh)

aha.

yeah the Yam has a whole new tail section, that was the main thing that jumped out at me from those pics.

if you love matte grey you'll be pleased to know that BMW will sell you a S1000RR in that color.

and Rossi is dusting off some of his old 'mindgames" bullshit. see below for the old grab the guys hand awkwardly and then don't let to go handshake. fuckin weasel.

That swingarm is long. The bike looks very long. I am going to try to compare it to the Yamaha. I already think the Honda is shorter than both.

I already warned JoLo. Let's see if he pays attention. Although, I am pretty sure everyone except the newbs are aware of Mr. Valentino's "subtle" race techniques. Who knows, though. I mean these guys do race prototype motorcycles, for Christ's sake. They can't all be geniuses. :laughing

i do think the Yamaha has the longest wheelbase, but IIRC most of the bikes are comparable, probably within the lengths of each's rear axle adjustments. however, recently the Duc has had the shortest swingarm (it worked on their WSBKs, ha). even w/ all their engine & frame changes, their frame still hasnt been as short as either the M1 or RCV, forcing a stubby swingarm. given that their current design is a compromise between sacrificing turning and front-end feel to minimize all that pumping and rear-end issues, its good that they are making huge changes.

That adjustment distance is huge. A 2" swingarm change will make a big difference. (I have a bike I run full forward to help with turn-in, for example.)
If Ducati can get the front settled down under braking and corner entry, the Americans, anyway, should be able to handle the active rear on exit. (Hopefully, thinking.) :laughing

What about the times, today? V.R. tops with a Yamaha armada. Hey? Mid-track conditions, but still, they got in quite a few laps. Things could get more entertaining in Qatar.

Yah the track conditions are a bit sketch after the rain washes off the layer of rubber on the racing line. Even with sunshine, the newly dried track is "green" as they say. So these times today are not worth much other than being slower than last year's warm sunny track.

2013 times vs 2012 times:
