This.
I rockstar parked my bike there at least once a week last summer and nobody ever ticketed it or messed with it.
I find that having a motorcycle i can park wherever I want. So find a door and park by it. I never get a ticket warning unless I park in red or a no parking zone. If your bikes nice shops love for you to park right near the door
Actually you should cut that $1000/spot figure in two if you figure that you can at least make 2 motorcycle spots per car spot, so you'd only have to carry $500 in stuff on your moto.
That said, it's probably more like $40 per spot than $1000. I've been going there for years and can only once remember spending a decent amount of money, it was ~$300. Every other time was between $0 and $50, usually $0.
I honestly don't think the math would show that a motorcycle shopper would spend as little as 1/2 as much as a car shopper.
I think the best way to approach this is to let them know that having motorcycle parking can free up lots of space for cars by not having each bike take up a spot
However, I have never been hassled about parking in a normal spot ever.

Organize a day for lots of motorcycles to go Valley Fair on a busy weekend during the summer.
Each moto would take up one regular parking space. Do that for maybe a week with lots of participants and I'm sure they would throw in moto specific parking in no time.
Imagine if this was done during the last week before Christmas.
All management would be up in arms and moto parking would be made within the week.

Organize something @ 9am on a Saturday.
100 bikes show up and take the 100 closest parking places, and the real consumers complain, not a bunch of riled up MC wackos from a very small demographic.
Is it required for motos to park in designated motos?
I was always under the impression that we can park in any parking space and that moto parking was suppose to be there for convenience and not take up a full parking.
Ie. At SJSU, we can park in the moto parking, but if we really wanted to, we can park in the metered parking so long we pay the meter??

so i sent them an email and this is what they said...
so anybody want to come with me and figure out a solution with them?
Hello Tri,
Thank you for contacting Westfield Valley Fair with your concerns about
there not being adequate parking stalls for motorcyclists. In our
opinion, this is an easy fix.
At your convenience, I would like to invite you back to our mall, where
you and I would have the opportunity to drive the property and discuss
possible locations for additional motorcycle parking. I can be reached
at the phone number listed below.
All best,
Dino
