Mounting camera on a helmet - which side?

Top for me. I tried a side mount one time and the wind noise it created was just horrible and the drag was not much better. Top all you get is some drag pulling your head back until you get use to it. GoPro wise that is.
 
Quick question for all you contour users.. I just picked one up to use commuting, and from the looks for things here, most of you seem to be using the included rotating mount, and not the additional helmet mount. Is that correct?
Any one using the helmet mount after trying the rotating mount that thinks it's worth the extra $40?
Reason I ask is that the included mount doesn't really fit well anywhere on my helmet, and I'm trying to see if it's worth shelling out the extra cash.

Yes, I used rotating mount which comes with the camera. It fitted pretty tight on top of my helmet.
