My grandfather was a mechanic at Pepsi-Cola managing the service shop for all the semi's delivering in northern California. I grew up working on engines and fabricating what was needed to get the job done.

Yep, everyone racing a two-stroke @ Daytona in the mid-70's had to have Lectrons to be competitive (TZ750's/TZ250's, etc.)

Later they made them for 4-strokes as well (flat-track racers= The Mile Harley's, etc.) If I recall correctly Rodger Edminison designed them for King Kenny's YAM/HD's Milers & his TZ750 Daytona bikes? (fading memory...feel free to correct me guys.)
