My OG mend has started.

Don’t be knocking the boot jack until
Not all of us come with lovely assistants.
:laughing

Oh hell no. No jack boot needed.
I am ditching drivers aids not adding them.

I suspect your boots are what you love and more but a Temporary different style might not impact the new hardware so roughly as it continues to heal awhile. It is not backward but forward looking as in going from wheelchair to walker to cane to freedom. Some easier-on-you intermediate boot then back to your heart’s delight soon? Glad to see you’re riding and smiling again.

I appreciate the boot effort here. :teeth

Perhaps a lighter boot would be good, but my current brand has saved me a broken ankle on a bike tip over and I do love them. I just need to work smarter with my rehab.

I will discuss it with my PT Pro today. Could be as simple as getting ankle weights and hitting the tread mill each day for 10 minutes. :dunno

The device progression is noted. Every once in a while I flash back to the real tough days.

I should add that I have moved back upstairs to the real bedroom.
New routine is come home.. go down stairs to hang with the Mook and do some stretching. The Mrs. tends to wander down too and we get to chat about life (which includes work - at least for now) and take turns petting the drool tool.

I am already shifting to getting up earlier as the skylights do not take prisoners.

Now I have to be all careful with "stuff" since I am back in the Queen's domain. There shalt not be any snacks. Pick up yo shit. All medicinal shit is put away and out of sight when not in use etc.

It is cool having the dogs storm the castle when they come up stairs. They dive on the bed in a most WOOT WOOT!!!! kind of way.
