Netflix prices will increase for 17 million users next month
About 17 million people who are basically the hipsters of streaming ("I was Netflixing before it was cool") will have to start paying the same as the rest of us soon.

The users who are grandfathered into an $8 per month, two-stream HD subscription will be charged $10 starting in May. But Business Insider says a lot of people don't know this will happen.
Well, they did have lower rates for awhile, but that is all over now.

I hope this means more/better content.

$2 more dollars. I will miss you $2 ... bye. :)

I'm on the $9.99 plan since I didn't sign up until last June. I feel its a very good value at that price.

they should have a premium service where you can select like 20 movies a month to stream. so sick of knock off movies being like 1/2 or more of my streaming content

I upgraded to $14 a month because I share it with dad, brother and sister and sometimes if too many were on it wouldn't allow all of us to use it as the same time. Considering the value I don't mind.

10 bucks a month is still a hell of a value.

Remember driving to Blockbuster, battling the herd as you browsed what few movies were actually in stock, standing in line for 20 minutes, paying $5 a movie, then driving home, then paying a late fee because you didn't return it by the deadline?

$10 a month for Netflix, wow what a steal.

Yea, i also remember block buster having new releases though. Honestly, netflix is just cheap enough not to cancel the subscription. The content honestly sucks.

There are so many good movies and tv shows on Netflix, I could never watch them. And I have way more free time than the average human. :p

Like when you stumble into a series you never noticed before, give it a quick look, then....where did the past two days go? :laughing

No. you're wrong. Didn't you read his post? There is NOTHING GOOD ON NETFLIX.

Holy shit, you would have to try HARD not to find something to watch on there.

Sure you can't find new releases (why I'm on the DVD plan) but as far as everything else, it's got it.

There's a lot of good stuff, it's just never new. That's my biggest beef.

In Netflixs defense, they did have that cartel land documentary which everyone else was charging extra for to watch. First time in a long time I was impressed with Netflix.

Didn't know we had this many Netflix fan boys on here :twofinger

Netflix is so good now they are cranking out their own damn content, and it's quite good. Daredevil and Jessica Jones are off the hook!
