Kawi is a beast for being a 600. 7years since my last bike, and let me tell you this thing is a beast just no bottom end

drop a one size smaller front sprocket on that.. it's easy to swap and will give you more low end torque... you will lose a small amount of mpg and max mph, but you can swap it back if you want to go to a more touring mode. .. if you want to get the max mph and mpg as well, change the intake and remap.

oh.. and that pipe has to go... and more low there as well.

hope monster beverage pays you to advertise for them... that seat is nice, but corbin could do that for you better.

Yeah, it was $500 more. The seat is green, the Kawasaki is on the plastics, and not on the tank, so you get the Ninja under the clear coat. I think you get a tail seat cowl as well as the passenger seat. There are a few other cosmetic things as well. But if you're going to take off the stickers, I don't think the green seat and cowl are worth $500. I took all the stickers off mine except for the Kawasaki that is under the tanks clear coat.

I took off every sticker minus the monster M on the side and the stickers that are clear coated on the tank. the white Kawi stickers look lame. took the one under the windscreen off and every one on the tail. I like the green seat and the green stickers around the lip of the rims. allso the bike wasn't 500$ more than the normal one. They actually have a few different color setups for the monster series. THe all black with the green lower fairing looks pretty trick. the reason I got this one is it was to good of a deal to pass up

Well, maybe for the 2010, but the 2009 that was next to the black one that I bought was pretty much set up as I described. Any ways, congrats and I think you'll like the 6R, I know I like mine. If you do a valve kit on the BPF let me know how it works out.

When the bikes came out in 09, guys were ditching the BPD stuff and putting regular 25mm's in I believe. Now the setup seems to be the Ohlins 30MM stuff, although I haven't tried it yet. That 6R always was a sexy little bike! None of the current crop of 600's has much bottom end; the suzuki is likely the best but runs our of RPM up top. The R6 doesn't run below 11K RPM's...it just lugs off a corner. Congrats on the bike Rsrider! Sex on wheels man!
