I’m just saying my faith is with Shanny and Lynch on this. They’ve done well so far. Nothing indicates they’ve made a mistake.

man it's such a coin flip with those players getting drafted with known personality issues. Foster has put the 9ers in a tough predicament. Maybe they can lure Bowman back.
 
It will be interesting when the coin flip comes... Both will want Roquan Smith now.

He was a baller last year, but he is going to be suspended for sure now. It hurts to lose a guy that talented but maybe they should look at the cap hit to cut him. I might try a one more chance/rehab approach to save the talent.
 
There's no cap hit. He lost a few mil in guaranteed $ cause of the weed

My best guess is he'll be suspended for the year and they will assign him a full time babysitter like Dallas did with Dez Bryant.

He was a baller last year..too bad he's throwing it all away. I guess you can put him on ice for a year, try and bring back Navarro Bowman to mentor him.

you'd have to convince Bowman to come back. The reason he was released is that he wasn't getting playing time. But if there are assurances then maybe they'll be able to woo him back.

Yeah, I mean, sometimes you can save these guys. Ray Lewis went to the Hall of Fame after some troubled youth, even Plax and Vick came back to play for a minute after Jail.
 
The guy had some social issues when he was drafted. There’s a reason he dropped to the bottom of the first round.

Maybe he was worth a chance, but very few really are.:x
