Raiders, Mahomies, and Tay-Tay....

On Tuesday, CBS announced that the Chiefs-Raiders game averaged 29.171 million viewers on CBS and Nickelodeon. They added that it was the most-watched Christmas Day programming in CBS history and the highest-rated NFL game on Christmas Day since 1989.

My DVR accidentally recorded a game earlier in the year on Nick and dear lord it was awful.

Almost as bad as the Mannings blathering on about who knows what on their "special" broadcasts.

Cool story, bro...

Anyway, looks like the Bronks are benching Wilson for the final games, for his own protection and value. Stidham's starting.

ESPN talking heads did mention the Giants.

Stuff and nonsense. A lot of these dummies like to mention us to just try and get some extra media blitz in the #1 market in the country.

From a Salary Cap perspective, a deal there is literally impossible.

Denver is in an even worse contract situation with Wilson than the Giants are with Daniel Jones.

All other AFC West fans will continue to rejoice with the DOOM that Denver is stuck with on that contract for the next 2-3 years. He is carrying so much dead cap on that contract they have no way out for at least 2 more seasons.

Daniel Jones seems to have a lot more potential upside and only has 1 year of Doom Deadcap attached to his.

Damn that sucks to lose from something like that. The way the ref ran off, he should have known he didn't hear. And when the ref didn't announce it, they should have done something then. They had two indicators. It's a game where a loss doesn't feel like a loss and a win doesn't feel like a win.

The officiating crew from the Lions/Cowboy game has been demoted....

Good.

Here's video evidence.

But maybe he was just saying hi to the ref.

After the game, Decker spoke to the media at his locker and explained his side, saying he did what he was “supposed” to do and reported to the referee.

“All I really want to say on it, just so I don’t get myself in trouble, is I did exactly what coach told me to do. Went to the ref, said report, and yeah, I don’t know,” Decker said.

The nfl meme post (and image above) doesn't show 70 running out to the ref and that's where his attention is. And I don't understand why 68 walked away when the ref clearly didn't display any acknowledgement. And why didn't campbell opt for 1pt after the penalty. Much frustrate from multiple angles.

Harbaugh makes those kinds of calls too and in losing seasons, he looks like an idiot. I just figure, points are hard to come by in the nfl, then with these top teams, they're even harder to come by, and in grudge matches like last night, they're even harder still. Lock in those profits when you can. Some of these guys have watched Tin Cup too many times.
