Online Dating, whats your experience?

The thing you have to remember with online dating is that everyone ups their standards tenfold as they would in real life. So if you make say.. $60K which is a decent wage in the Bay Area, then you really should be making twice that much. Likewise, if you're driving a Bimmer 3 series that would not be sufficient on OKC. Only a M6 would suffice for the standards of the women on there.

The biggest problem I find with online dating is lots of people are just awful communicators. Ideas, can you voice them?

Solid date tonight. She was an inch taller which I think is kick ass and she was stoked I didnt have a problem with that.

This is true.... my experience has been either they are A) socially awkward or B) just out to get laid.

Either way, doesn't work out for me.

I would agree with that but add C) Someone just trying to make a connection like most of us.

Even with the occasional strange person thrown in the mix, I have definitely met some good people online too. :thumbup

I'm socially awkward. It's not fun. Some people are not super social/don't know how to socialize very well. I go to a bar full of people and think "Get me the fuck out of here."

I never really got why some people need to be in a relationship with other people, it might just be my age though...
