Pacific Track Time - FREE Track Day

because the dog ate my trackday monies.... which i was gonna use to finally try out a PTT day (ive done ZZ, KTT and The Trackclub). I wanted to experience for myself why the reviews for PTT are so polar

Because I have never given anyone a traffic ticket who has an AFM or BARF sticker on their bike.
 
1) Because school has me broke enough where my bike is held together with zip ties and duct tape. So trackdays are hard to afford, and yet I seem to be able to scrape together enough nickles to spend money with PTT

2) Because I sit here at my shop giving customers PTT calender cards which Craig Harris dropped off

3) Because I convince new riders, and new trackday riders, to go to the track with PTT and hand them the afformentioned calender cards

4) Because in 2005, I donated a set of brand new slicks to the lunch time raffle during my PTT trackday, and never asked for anything in return.

5) Because if I win a free trackday, I will be bringing other paying riders with me, making PTT money :)

6) Because if I win, I will not use it for Laguna, helping PTT

7) Because I need Corey Call to make me faster :)

8) Because if I don't win the freebie, Zeus shall strike down on thee

9) Because next year, I will be buying a season pass from someone...

10) Because my boss complains about when he used to roomate with Michael Earnest, Michael finished the milk and put the empty bottle back in the fridge, 27 times

I deserve one because of Cory Call. That's right. Because of Mr. Call.

Because the last time I had him follow me in Thill, the first thing he said to me afterwards was that my bike ran like shit. Well you know what Mr. Call, I dumped that piece of shit and spent good money on a new-tech riddled bike. So just on the principle alone that I spent good money on a better bike, I should get a free track day from PTT, all because of Mr. Call.

It's guilty by association for PTT, basically. :teeth

That, and because I promised Bess that come the RFR weekend in August I will ride on the track with a full tuxedo over my leathers, should merit me a freebie.

Go ahead, ask Bess.

I signed up and paid for PTT's June RFR weekend, only to remember that it's the same weekend as my cousin's wedding. To which I'm the best man.

Yet I had to think hard about retracting my sign up.

Because my wife did more PTT events than me last year including a Fast Way Around TH school...while I sat and watched because we couldn't afford both of us riding:(. To top that....towards the end of the year she blew the motor in her r6... so I let her do the last PTT trackday of the year on MY bike! :rolleyes

I would like to nominate my buddy Ugo for the free trackday. I think you know the little guy already. He is striving to become the AFM Top Novice of 2009. I think he definitely has the talent and drive to succeed. He sold his Kawasaki and just picked up a Suzuki GSXR 750 so his funds are low. He always speaks praises about Pacific Track Time. I have been an avid fan for over five years now myself. Ugo will definitely use the day to improve on his riding skills no matter which track it is. Speaking from experience as you know, I don't think he is aware of quite how expensive racing is and this will definitely help him out. I think he deserves this too because he has pulled several of us along with him almost everytime he goes out to do PTT track days. I hope you take the time and consider Ugo for this free track day.

Props to Pacific Track Time, Michael Earnest and his whole crew for offering a free track day to us riders too. You guys are amazing!!!:thumbup

Yah well I have my motives....she's gotten pretty fast because of all those trackdays and now when we do ride together, its a blast:cool (she does a 2:13 at TH:cool) Of course, I probably won't think it's that cool when she starts beating me....that's why I need a trackday!:twofinger
 
I don't deserve a free trackday I get quite a few. But Calvin ( Mackey Stingray) is a great guy and very very good rider. He'd be the guy I chose..
 
1. Because I'm sponsoring Andy Carmen with a free paintjob on his race bike and he decided to give me a dented tank and still can't get me the damn tank cover. But at least now he will have a nice place to put his PTT sticker when he's racing this year.

2. I am now broke partly because of the above.

3. I am also now broke because my wife got laid off

4. I've paid to crash my bike several times without getting anything in return maybe this is the time I will get reparations for all of the times you allowed me on the track on the laps that I crashed (you should have known better :laughing)......

5. During NRS Cory was giving me some instruction and for whatever reason decided I could keep up and crashed.....after already passing the written and riders test......so I automatically failed and had to come back.

6. Every time you guys raffle free track days I never win!!

7. I will bring a girl friend that will flash boobies for wheelies on the front straight.....could be unsafe but its boobies so who cares.

8. I won't crash this time
 
sigh.....here goes this is just the last few months.

1. Just recently divorced
2. Child support $1800 a month
3. moved out of 4,000sq ft house
4. moved into little love shack (have to step out to change my mind its so small)
5. EX got the porsche, expedition
6. I re purchased Expedition from EX paid for it twice
7. I got the Volvo
8. had to get rid of my American Bulldog
9. crashed my 07 gixxer 750..being held together by zip ties and liquid steel. cant afford my $500 deductable im waiting till i crash it realy good at track so i can report to insurance.
10. Completed NRS last September but cannot afford to race this year.
11. I have PTT stickers all over my bike

13. My registration for Volvo and Expedition is due next month.


I'm gonna stop right here, this is depressing me. If I continue i'm gonna need at least a whole 2009 season pass from PTT to keep my mental health. :(

I'm a poor law student 2/3rds of the way done and riding is the one of the few things that really help with the stress.
I've never ridden on a track and really want to start, but I don't have the money.
When I finish school I'll be over $100,000 in debt - so no trackdays for a loooong time probably.
You all really want to see a naked GS500 rip it up* on the track.



*Read: park it in the corners.
 
hmmm...trackdays are my escape, my reward for working so damn hard. while most people like to take time off to go golfing (boring) or fishing (even more boring), i love to go to the track to have fun, improve my skills, and most of all hang out friends who share the same passion and talk shit with. i don't mind paying, but a free trackday would be cool!
 
I'm a poor and starving college student who just had nachos and a peanut butter sandwich for dinner.
