+1 for mackey, dude has wicker stapled to his leg!

Calvin is an awesome competitor. He gets down and goes.

Give it to me because I work for Lance and want to see what wheelies look like!:laughing

And ... I don't see you and Bess enough.

Have a great season!

If she did win the free day I'd bet her stubborn pride would not let her show up anyway and then they wouldn't be out anything! She won a tire gift certificate for Dunlop tires from us a few years ago but she only liked Pirelli's then and did not cash it in. I mentioned it a while ago and said I'd still honor it but as of yet she has not taken me up on the offer! sHE HAS GREAT pRIDE!@#$:rolleyes

Now Bring It ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:ride
Pat, you really have GOT to easy up on whatever botanicals you are smoking.
I only rode on Michelins, and switched to Dunlops 2 years ago. Tried a pair of Pirelli's last year just for kicks.

Thank you for your kind offer, but even with your "discount coupon" your prices are way too high. We get better deals with Viets Performance, or buying directly from Terry. I am loyal to my vendors, they offer me the best prices, the best support, free mounting etc. so why don't you give that coupon to one of PTT customers. They seem to need it more than I do.

Same goes for TDPs. Thank you but no thank you. Once again, I am pretty picky, and I always want the best for myself. So I already have several dozen track days this year with KTT, Z2 and Kneeriders.

Thank you for being so thoughtful and generous. Good luck with your business.

Well I got laid off a few months ago. I just got into a car accident. My dreams of hitting the track are pretty slim this season. Although Ill still get out there when my friends head to the track just to help them around the pits. I still have almost as much fun hanging around the pits as I do riding. :thumbup

It's hard to ask for a free track day when PTT just gave me a deal, $150 for feb 18th :thumbup Then when my bike was runnin like crap, PTT steered me to the tire guy who had good advice. When my bike did crap out, you gave me a tasty micro beer :thumbupx2 So I think the question should be what am I doing for PTT! I will continue to drag as many fellow tarders as I can to your events. Oh wait, that might not be a plus :x And I'll bring the beer next time :party

Ps To all Barfers, Untill you host a trackday yourself, you may not have a clue how much work & STRESS it can be. One was enough for me. Thanks again PTT for all the hard work :Port

I honestly would probably never made it to one of your events if it were not for him. If you guys don't know who im talking bout its the guy on your nuts every event. LOL!!! He even had me setting up your easy ups. VOTE 4 UGO!!!!

Cause I'm the shit and when I'm the #1 plate in AFM in a few years, and when all the mags are interviewing me, I'll have Corey and Michael stop changing my tires in the pits come over put my arms around them look right at the interviewers and say "It's because of these two guys right here swapping out my tires in a timely manner that I am the reigning formula pacific winner, Oh and yeah cause they gave me a free track day back in the day!!!"

Yeah it's Like that!!! :cool

See you guys on the 30th:thumbup

Here is my entry.

On September 9th of last year I was at your trackday hosted at Thunder Hill. This was my (at the time) second track day on my GSXR 600. I was excited to finally get back to the track and I kind of went all out. I rented a truck for Enterprise and set out to get this addiction under control. On the way I picked up a friend in Redwood City and then we all headed up to Willows for the 3+ hr drive.

The next morning, I got my fresh tires put on, checked the psi; perfect. Went thru tech w/ no problems at all.

First C group session of the day and I head out w/ my friends. We do our first lap as a sighting lap w/ the instructor. He pulls off at the end of the 2nd lap on the back straight before T14. Since I had told my friends I'd "tow" them since it was my 2nd time at this track and it being their first, I thought it'd be a good idea. So I get ahead of them (i was "sweep" in our group) and head into T14.

Look thru the turn, lean, drag knee, nice...

I lean into the turn more to make the turn since I came in a little hot.

Wow.

at this point i'm dragging hip and the bike disappears from underneath me.

I slide to the dirt about 5 feet ahead of my bike, and just in time i roll over from the speed and hitting the dirt to see my bike completely in the air, nose down. That was the last I saw of my pretty bike w/ OEM fairings.

As I slid onto the dirt my right leg caught the dirt and propped me up sending me onto my left knee. My foot planted and all the force was transfered into my knee. At first I felt fine. Was walking around cussing to all shit because of what happened. The next instructor that saw me pulled off which happened to be Cory (i think). he checked me out and asked if i was ok. I said ya. Looked back at my bike and both of our reactions were, "damn".

All fairings were ripped off. Headlight. Broken uppper fairing stay. ripped off both stock clip ons. tail ripped in half.

He asked, "can you ride my bike back to the pits and i'll figure out how to get yours there?"

"sure"

I ride the superhawk w/ gp shifting back to the pits where he comes strolling in singing, "i can ride my bike w/ no handle bars, no handle bars".

DOH!

So, I have the guys there who have parts to put on some woodcraft clip ons in hopes of getting back on the track. Needless to say, by the time they got the clip ons on, i couldn't lift my leg to put it over the bike. My left knee began to swell and I couldn't put any weight on it.

Turns out I tore my ACL. :(

So, a $180 trackday, $70 hotel, $150 gas, $175 truck rental, $160 clip ons, $75 for the guys working on my bike, and I got to do 1 and 3/4 laps at Thill. (not to mention the rebuilding cost)

Over the next 3 weeks I was on crutches rebuilding my bike while sitting at home doing nothing. I swear the bike beat me to full recovery.

I also got a call from Michael to, "check up" on me and make sure everything was ok. I thought that phone call meant a lot. Someone checking up to make sure someone who got hurt at their event was OK. :thumbup A+ in my book.

So, after completely rebuilding the bike, I am ready for another track season. I will be attending your March 30th date at Thill and CAN'T WAIT!

here is a picture of the aftermath.

I can backup this story, exept for one thing. It was my second time there :twofinger

I’ve been at the track when Lance and Linda Keigwin were riding with PTT. Bess Keigwin (Lance's daughter) lives with Michael Earnest, works & rides with PTT. Sounds to me like you’re saying they all have low standards and aren’t that picky.

Of course, I’ve seen Michael riding with K@TT and they run a good day too. Seems to me they all have the same standards and they're the ones that own the companies.

I’m a short fat fur ball with a three inch cock on a two minute timer. I’m almost bald but I have lots of hats and a really nice toupee to keep the inside of my vintage Bell Star clean. I can handle a remote better than any rider on the planet. I disrespect women every chance I get, but I can’t get away with it at my job at McDonald's… that’s what I hate most about my job… that and cleaning the toilets. I’m miserable, and if I could afford a gun I would shoot myself… hmmm… maybe if I didn’t spend all my money on booze, gambling, prostitutes, and trackdays I could afford a gun… naw, that wouldn’t work cause my mom would bitch slap me with it when I brought it home. I need a free trackday so I can spend more money on booze, gambling, and prostitutes... and because I'm pathetic... snore... snore... snore... and narcoleptic (mostly when I ride)... and I'm honest.

It would only be fair,
that I put some poetry, here.
I would like to bring to bare,
jmonte35's work with Carmen, there.

If this was not enough,
he promises not to crash,
and his honey flashes her stuff,
which sounds like PTT trash.

Oh, wait, I didn't mean that. I was just trying to rhyme.
...flashes her stuff,
which sounds like cash.

No, that's not it, either.

Anyway, give it to this guy.
I will work on the poetry thing and get back to you.

P.S. Hi, guys! How are ya'? :wave

Yeap I've heard Lance and Michael are friends as well, just run different shows. Some people like bars, some people like clubs. Both are great places to get drunk and hang with buddies. :thumbup

I ride the hills often, and i've never gone to the track because it costs so much. I'm trying to move but i'm broke and it's no good along with my med bills for my back that I still have to pay. I also know that if I go to the track, it will greatly improve my riding skills and teach to me ride better. I also heard that you change the way you ride on the street after going to track (being safer) and I want to gain that. I'm a college student trying to get through school while having to go through back problems (trying to solve them) and paying, bills, etc etc etc the list goes on. It has always been a dream to go hit the track, but the money that I would use for the track always ends up going towards bills or towards trying to save for a engagement ring. It's crap! Anyways, I hope I get this it would be awesome!

Thanks,
Peter

Hey sveta, Thanks for the props! Yes we are looking forward to this season. Things are better than ever and it's already off to a good start.

That's way cool you are giving away a free trackday as well. You will not hear me over on your thread spouting any negative shit because I think it is way awesome what you are doing!

As far as the tire gift certificate goes, You do remember I was willing to give you cash as well and since you do not want it and since you have taken a liking to the AFM how about I give the cash to the AFM benevolent fund? If your good with that It's good as done in your name of course!!!

It's funny that the last business between you and Trackside Moto was at Infineon with Kegwins a few months ago when you got a FREE TIRE MOUNT AND BALANCE compliments of being a Dunlop rider. Our pricing is based on the AFM racer discount prices from Sport Tire Service unless I have some special sale or you WIN A FREE TIRE in a drawing or something along those lines.

I'm not quite sure what you are getting at with the smoking of botanicals line but if you are making some kind of accusation about me or my company here on an open forum then out with it. Otherwise watch were you tread! Some shit could get real serious real fast!!!

Now back to your regular programming..........:ride
