Out west of Kuna Idaho on Swan Falls Rd. No fences along these roads. I need some better dirt tires if I'm going to leave the pavement regularly around here.
Rented this from twistedroad.com. I've wanted a Versys 650 the longest time based on all the positive reviews, but it was a big let down - no power, so boring!
The one with in the middle of the road with everything burned is pretty damn interesting.
I have this one from yesterday... Davenport... but it is not the location that makes this special....it is the bike I am next too. My buds new V4. The thing sounds so good!! besides looking good.
Took a ride this morning, an odd thing for me on a Tuesday, but I think I'll get used to it.
Filled up the tank...
Took a ride down the coast, didn't feel like stopping to take pics, we have all seen pics of Bixby, vista points, etc., but my goal was to make it down to make a donation to the Gandolfini Monks (… err, Camaldoli monks)…. I stopped and picked up a sandwich at the Big Sur Deli and headed down to Lucia. Just past the Lucia Lodge is a goat road that leads to the Monastery. It's tight, and a bit rough in places, but they have put up benches to contemplate life, or to just eat lunch...
$100 bench, priceless view for lunch...
A little more up the road is the monastery/hermitage, the chapel is a very calming place.
