I swear I was trying to take a pic of the bike.

The Z looks hungry........

and you can even see where heat from the header reshaped it :rofl

it's a bike that's old enough to vote, I'm not gonna spend real money on a catch can

Road Niles Canyon to Calaveras to Sierra Road yesterday was such a nice day for a ride it would be a shame to just ride on the freeway all day.

Along the Snake River. That's Guffey Bridge in the background behind my right mirror.

On Guffey Bridge. You can't go anywhere once you get across, so we had to come back.

Just below Swan Falls Hydroelectric Dam. We had heard rumors that you could walk a motorcycle across there, and we wanted to see what was on the other side.

We asked a guy working there about walking the bikes across and he said it was okay to ride them. The walkway is only about three feet wide and the 90 degree corners are tricky, but we rode across. We warned everybody on foot first and tried to show respect to all of them. Getting up the hill on the other side almost had me out of my comfort zone on a long, steep, rocky uphill section.

Is that construction still going on up there?
Yes and no. They paved the 're-alignment' section for the winter, and will finish the work when the weather gets better. It's not bad right now. There are other areas that have minor issues, but nothing we couldn't deal with easily on a couple sport bikes.
