Pics- Kitchen Sink Party. Sat, July 26

Damn, I'm never going to see Alayna/Vio/Danni/Danni topless at this rate :cry

Stupid family-time! [/homer]

Next year I'm bringing a camera and only taking pictures of cocks.

actually...i think that was already done by a few barfettes

Mine is sunburned from all the camera flashes. :laughing

I have a bunch of pictures, but I've been really busy and haven't had time to post any yet. I'll try to do it tomorrow, I promise.

Next year I'll bring a camera!! There were sooo many amazing moments. It's just like Senior Prom....I can't believe its over....lol. Bad analogy for some, I'm sure.

I appreciate that Alicia, thank you.
But I wonder why it is so important for this 'name withheld' photog to take pics at night if its been mentioned numourous times that it causes others to feel uncomfortable?

I understand that he 'said' he wasn't taking pics of the pool area, but myself and several others saw this person aim his camera right at us more than once, and there wasn't anything else he could have been taking a picture of other than girls :boobies and people openly and freely enjoying their time with friends. There was also another guy that was seen taking pics from behind the bushes for quite some time. :wtf Amazing!

If either of you are reading this.. it's just not cool! I ask you respectfully to please refrain from taking pics after dark at future OFG parties. I love Tom and Chris's parties and look forward to them every year, but I'd like to not have to worry about a creepy camera guy when I'm get'n my party on! I know I'm far from being the only one who feels this way.

Why didn't you guys make this a "no cameras allowed" event and have just one "official" camera person?

What was the triple stacker? I was upstairs trying to take care of my friend who drank way too much jd for her size

This is a great idea IMO, it would make me comfortable with after-dark-pool-swimsuit-liberating-activities.

I would second that......

Also have a no cellphone in the BY rule, (silly cell cams). If I can leave my cell alone for 12 hours, it cant be that difficult for others.

I vote Razel for camera man..... :later

Sounds good, but maybe 2 or 3 approved photogs, because at any given moment, there's a lot of action! Give them OFG/OFW "Staff" t-shirts. :)

edit: plus, give them strict instructions on what they are allowed to photograph.

:rolleyes Dude... after dark, some people choose to swim or enjoy the hot tub sans bathing suit.. right! I think to take pics of those people or in their direction is disrespectful and in poor taste, whether they admit to it or not. Most folks respect this, but there are always one or two that don't. It's something that I don't want to have to worry about while I'm there. Perhaps I'm more sensitive to it because I'm a girl. That's all I'm saying! Capiche?

Because one camera couldn't cover it all?

One can't...

Seriously, I understand the issue. It really boils down to respecting others wishes. No photos of you wanted? None taken. Something shows up that wasn't supposed to be in-frame? Delete it if you can't edit the photo to make it right. (That's why I have an editor named "Tom" for all the ones I take :D)

Daytime is usually where everyone is socializing with others, and the various encounters are are worth making a "memory" of it. That's why no one has an issue during the daytime. Mulitple cameras make sense, too.

Nighttime? Tough call, some times there's something worth taking a picture of. Tom in a bikini, for instance...or getting a three-person pyramid/statue in the pool (because if you fail, the landing zone is pretty harmless). Obviously, ones that the subjects want taken. That's all on the "plus" side.
On the other hand, if you're not known by most folks, just put the camera away. If asked, put the camera away without discussion. From what I read, Alicia did that and the photog refused. I don't know if that person satisfied a "trust" with Alicia or not. If not, camera off and put away. No reason anyone should feel any discomfort, any at all. If that means some good photos get not-taken, c'est la vie.

But, keep the option open. Just have to get a higher level of trust first.

Duderina... When you make an open invitation to a large community such as BARF, you can't control who will show up but you can control what they can do....or ask them to leave. Having an "official camera" person rule will take care of unwanted camera attention. Capiche?

I don't have a cellphone w/camera. Are those things any good at night beyond 10 feet? I was on the edge of the pool trying to ge the first pyramid pics, and needed the auxillary flash just to get a decent enough shot to recognize the attemptees (is that a word?). Those built-in flashes aren't worth any night shots at any distance. Now, the separate candlestick holders with the big, square flash? Yup...

Talk to my editor... :teeth

Duderina.. I like that! Cute! :) LOL
No I don't capiche.. that's lame and it wouldn't work. It's not a freaking wedding reception FFS!
Let's drop this before it gets messy. I was upset, I voiced my concern and would like to be done with the topic if possible. There are much juicier details to share!
Party on!!!! W000t!
