I have allot of experience with Corporate event photography. There's all sorts of do's and don'ts. I can still take pictures without offending anyone.
There is a deck picture of a Barfer lounging in a chair, He's the subject and I took several pictures with different back grounds. I didn't take a full frame of him cause it wasn't flattering. It was these series that likely what got attention. Bikini in background was three pictures worth. Told not to show the girls, those didn't make the post. I'm not taking pictures of bikinis they where a background, the subject of importance was the Barfer in the lounge chair. It is a conversational picture, alas no one discussed it :D Hope this gives you an insight in what I'm trying to capture.
Don't assume I'm some pervert with a camera. Given a choice of a bikini picture or a picture that captured someone's genuine smile. It's the smile I'm shooting for.
Meanwhile don't go accusing someone twice your size it's dangerous to your health.

OK back to my usual happy self. I see good in everyone before assuming bad things. It gets me in trouble. I'm done it wasn't a biggie.
 
Looks like I missed out on a fun party. Try and catch it next year.

That doesn't mean you are without class. And if you were not paid to shoot the event, then your "corp event photography" means shat. If you are hiding behind some glass at a PRIVATE party and shooting up a storm, it's just a bit weird unless you are asked to do so, and if you aren't, then you might want to let ALL of your subjects know what your "intent" was

Meanwhile, don't make threats of bodily harm over the internet. Lawyers and Judges care not how large in stature you are, they will take you to the cleaners regardless. The internet is serious business these days, no joke

Edit: I'm just an outsider, I see your point of view, but I can also see the point of view of those who were uncomfortable. Perhaps just something to think about next time. Just because you think you are just and right in your shot taking, well everyone else may not agree.
