Did you get the street ranboconda or the off-road?

I have a fully set up no more I have for sale and I am looking for a rabbaconda dirt as I do almost exclusively dirt bike tires now

So it was finally concrete day yesterday. It was 100 degrees out and I was glad I paid to have it done for me and also I don't have the skills to float a big ass slab. :rofl
Did a 30x15 section up by the house to get rid of a weed pit and add extra parking spot.

Then add a 20x30 pad in front of the shop with a 8x13ft sidewalk in front of the shop overhang so I can roll the zero turn lift out there and wash off the mower which I am dreading because of the aforementioned 100 degree heat.

And finally a 10x20 slab in the back which I will eventually enclose and put the shop air compressor out there and various other items I don't want taking up room inside like chemicals and gas cans. I would have gone the whole distance in the back but the plumbing stubs for the shop plumbing come out there and I will probably need to put a waste pump there so it can push the bad stuff to the septic tank.

I thought the hat was goofy at first.
It is growing on me.

Awesome stuff. What was permitting like? In CA, it's a "good luck" proposition...Jelly!

What is that word permitting? for a slab no need I am out in the boondocks so its do as you will for most stuff although they do require it for other things. I had to get permits for the actual workshop build because of electrical, flood and wind stuff and some associated house things. If I dig I call 811 so they don't hit a line as that would cost. Funny thing is I had a company come out and clear out a ton of trees so they called 811 for underground stuff but then dude wound up hitting a power line with the excavator bucket and had to call the PoCo out.

Should have bought this three weeks ago.

I find so many things like these in the cars I work on. Something simple and a better than nothing thing like an AirTag or much more purposeful things like this.

Always an interesting response when we mention we found a tracker to the customer and they were completely unaware it was there. Always see the wheels immediately turning in their head as to who could have put it there and what have they done wrong recently. (Also used car dealers put them in if they are financing a deal)

Wife bought air tags.... I said good thought but not secret enough.

Some day if I buy a nice car I will put that kill switch in it too.
If I could get a bug zapper feature I would light those mofos up with that too. :laughing

So my trend of doing things without permits continues. I was calling around to find out how much it would cost to get a 2 post car lift put in for the shop. Only people I could find were in Texas. I called Auto Lift Techs out of Houston and was talking to the guy and he mentioned they just took some Rotary Lift brand 10K car lifts out of a dealership. It was big price jump from what I was looking at for new home lifts so I PM'd our resident mechanic know it all RobSJ and got some feedback on that lift. The feedback was that its a solid lift he has used a lot so that sold me on it plus it has a gold certification from the American Lift Institute which means its been through testing to make sure its a good design. So messaged them we were good to go and they came out today and did the deed. I ran some 10/3 wire to the front of the shop so I can have some exterior plugs so its a 2 gang box with one 30A 220V plug and a 120V 20 amp duplex plug with an in use weather cover. Then I ran another leg from that box to the overhand side of the workshop and put the same setup there so I can run power to the lift. So here is the new toy in all it's glory I just need to do the electrical work this week so I can actually use it as they just put 120V on it to show me it works.

^^^ Very nice!
I've installed multiple Rotary brand and knock-off's (Champion?, maybe) lifts... never had an issue with any of them.
