I think Jeeps are like European cars now, I probably wouldn’t buy one with unknown history. This is an original owner vehicle that had personalized plates. The little grandkids were crying as I took it away.

Receipts for every oil change, recall, tires, he actually used the 4WD regularly and actually serviced the system.
It has become common for those of us in the JL/JT world to blame Stellantis for literally everything while ignoring those shitty Rough Country lifts and excessive negative wheel offset as well as the failure to perform any of the scheduled maintenance on the driveline components and the engine. I just assumed that extends to those that bought the W* series Jeeps too (read: Grand Cherokees) as well as basically anything else with the Jeep logo on it. :laughing

This one is unmolested. Stellantis for sure fucked up the Jeep and Ram brands. There are so many YouTube vids out there how to blow up the motor or turn a 60k family wagon into a crawler.

The only way you're going to kill a Pentastar is if you want to or you're an idiot. It's not an unreliable engine. The jury is still out on the 2.0T but I'm not a turbo luddite like the vast majority of JL/JT people are.

it’s a very misty morning outside.

I too had no idea that a 4x4 trans needed exercise. Then again I've never owned anything 4x4 or even AWD despite my time in Colorado.
