lol - there was another couple there, and coach recognized my SO right away, shakes his hand. the other couple start to introduce me, and coach interrupts, looks at me and says ‘i remember you’. then he smiled. he’s mellowed into a very sweet old dude. being friendly was easy. looking forward to the next time.

I'm not quite sure I need an E-bike. WTF? What for?!!?!?!?

Now, I know it's _nice_. But I can go around on my present bike.. (And use the bus if I get tired.)

actually because fog is frequent and heavy here and high beams are useless. i’m going to point them towards the periphery to better see lane markings and animals at night. :nerd
They are certainly useful for that.

My wife's last 5 cars have had them.

Two Saabs, two Acuras, and her CX5 now.

All but one of those cars, Saab convertible, were/are rock solid reliable.

Need? Maybe not, want? Maybe?
I didn't pull the trigger till I was 65.

Prior to that I managed ok on a regular pedal bike but then I wanted to tackle some nearby hills.

Younger folk seem to prefer throttle e'bikes to pedal assist e'bikes like mine...the ones that look mor like motos with fatter tires not all that suitable for regular road biking.

um, yeah high beams are def useless in fog.
(

Which light is right for fog?

While your gut instinct may opt for the one that promises more light and further illumination, high beams can actually cause more damage than good in a foggy situation. When your visibility is less than 150 meters, stick to low beam headlights. )

BUT
but
if I hadn't typed Le Mans, it wouldn't have been a cool post 🥳 Yellow gives off that 80s Frenchy vibe

what's the problem with the foggies anyway? Just get OEM and a new switch and plug them in? also did you switch the car-model?
