A red Tesla suv passed me in a right turn only lane on highway 1 in H moon bay…. :wow WTF is wrong with people ?

Then she passed the next car in left turn lanes over two yellows, kicking dust in the middle. Think she may have been upset? I’m sorry but 60 year old female drivers ;) usually don’t have that hasty reputation! 💣

maybe she was late to her karen meeting.

.. the only "thing I can think of", is that she was the vehicle I pulled out in front, when leaving the HMB resto-on-the-side-of-the-road (which is why I hate such restos) ... but I think I pulled out okay and there were no honkes ... so she must've gone irritated ?!?! Like again, WTF is wrong with people. She didn't rush afterwards. :rofl
 
teslas sometimes auto brake i thought.

maybe some of her stupid moves were “oops” like “oh shit this is a right turn?” but that center pass is… that area has too much going on for that to be safe.
 
You realize I would have immediately thought "oh, typical young male hothead, so forget about him" ... but? Since there was slowdown immediately after the first right-lane pass , I could see her face in the left-mirror. Yellowish short-cut bob-hair and dark shades of non-young-woman persuasion... :wow

yes, I agree, thought she may have been confused in the right-turn lane, but she came pretty late, actually--then it would reinforce my thought "wait a minute, that's one dumb driver* that doesn't know how to drive"

She may have been myopic, basically. I hate this kind of self-centered driver combined with a powerful car.

I personally know two Karens. One hates the pop culture reference and introduces herself to new people with her middle name. We only call her Karen during private friends' dinners/hang outs.

The other loves it and leaned into the skid.

Saw a neighbor at the mailbox a few minutes ago. Apparently she overcooked (too much food, not burnt food) and her family didn't take much home so she invited me and a couple other neighbors to come over and help clean some of it up.

She also bought way too much wine expecting a lot more empty bottles so I guess I will do my part with that too.

I am a team player. 🥳
 
Yes. Very sweet. Luckily it's just a few doors down. My booze tolerance is pretty solid but wine still makes me a little silly easily and my porch steps can be dangerous if a little... altered.

Happy belated Thanksgiving! I went to Elskippy's home and enjoyed a great meal with he and his wife.
So happy to be a part of their celebration.

o-dark thirty. i rarely see this time of day. and not looking forward to this morning. me and him are going out to breakfast with one of his former coaches. at the time, he called me a ‘distraction’ and tried hard to remove me from the picture. am wondering if i can be friendly. i guess we’ll see.
