Someone's gonna wake up to a cranky email from early morning Kev. I typically refrain from sending agitated emails until later in the day but Hannah has dropped the ball too many times.
Also cc'd her boss.
 
Hey, wouldn't it be great if you did this other extra work even though your ability to do the job hasn't been approved yet? You could also do all this other stuff too if you are interested and think it's a good idea! Wouldn't that be great? Everything is great....

Hannah is going to get it, I hope she’s not a Victor some stupid manager making her job impossible.
Headed to Paso Robles to pick up our new bikes.

The diesel jeep delivers 28.8 mpg on the highway!
 
Listening to sea shanties but they're instrumental and wearing a T-shirt with a 3 masted square rigger on it. Feeling naughty call

My golf TDI gets around 42mpg on the highway :x

But also, it definitely cannot go off-road.
 
I have decided that the only thing that makes being up at 4am bearable is the lovely sound the KTM 950 makes as I hoon the few miles to UPS. As such my in town gas mileage is pretty crappy :laughing

I do push the bike down from my garage to a section where there are not units above the other garages to (slightly) the rumble required to briefly warm up the motor.

Have you thought of applying with State Farm?

"Like a good neighbor" and all that.

Never mind the MFers dropped my homeowners' after paying them without a claim for 40 years.

They ain't no Nate.
 
While this is one of my coaching axioms, it applies to earlier conversation,

Me to team: What does good work get you?
Team: MORE WORK!

Of course, this is a positive. Good work/wins, gets a team to the playoffs, thus....more work!

In the work world, good work generally gets you more work. It may lead to a pay bump. It may lead to a new title. However. do good work, then look for more, and sometimes, noting greater than a mere thank you in return.
 
Maybe not for everyone, but for some of us, doing something well, contributing, etc makes the effort worthwhile. I mean, the paycheck is sweet too.
 
I filled my gas can with gasoline and now my trunk smells of ...gas ooo leaaaan


I guess I spilled some on the ground.
Like two splashes or so ....

Which makes me think these gas cans, seem to be hard to fill .. I think it was a flash spill from the pressure of the stream going backwards and out

Just renewed with Progressive, four bikes, cash value replacement on two of them, $550 a year.

Gotta jiggle the hose a bit before you pull the nozzle out, helps to avoid any drips.

Once again I think the gas splashed while I was fillig in ,and, the aluminum nozzle was firmly inserted in the hole.. of the gas can.

Actually scratch that. I think it was not firmly inserted..
