I checked my notes and they have done alignment after they replaced the control arms...
Or at least they say so.:dunno

(I might have to check papers to see if I have the alignment printout sheet)

Either way it seems like I need to make an uncomfortable trip to Berkeley "to check things out". I also heard some noise/croaking from the front driver's for the last month:(

(I don't know if it's adjustable... I think so. But they have to point a little inward anyway on this car I think)

my car navigation system went all wonky today. I was lost for a minute, in the rain, slippery and wet rds. May that be the worst thing that happens to me for the rest of my life.
I survived.

I wouldn't go back to that shop, get another shop you trust to look at the work and then if you want to put in the stress you can see about going after them for faulty work

Agreed, but don't they always say , to go back to the shop?

However. The shoppe did say they have a "1 year warranty" and in fact suggested to come back within the 11th month --and good thing that I wrote it down! Because I had completely forgotten about that suggestion...

Before taking the car back and for little drama; if you have a 2 foot carpenter-level then park the vehicle on a level surface. Settle the suspension bounce on it. Put the carpenter level on the side of the tire, the level should read nearly plumb.

I don't think there is a single level surface is all of San Francisco :laughing
that too. That too.
:rofl
I was going to say that.

yeah I've actually thought about that over the years. It's not as easy as you think. not even on the street (!!), even at the closest gas station...

There is one multiple story parking lot however and/or the same two-story lot over a car-parts store.

If AE manages to get his car on one, I wanna be there to capture the moment
:laughing Maybe this one? Usually such fun is reserved for more of the patch-wearing Barfers, however...

this reminds me. I'm pretty sure I've seen a Nissan 370Z on the pedestrian path in the Bandshell loop, in the park, for a photo opportunity,,,,, damn kids.

anyway I might try the Plum🪠level tomorrow!

might also be toe in and you can get a pretty good idea if that's close with just a tape measure. Back in the 80s when I had a Datsun 510 with camber bushings, I'd do my own alignment.

Yah, it's okay. Thanks. This picture above looks like some serious business!!!!

I hope it's not just "normal wear" for this car (?!?)

I think your toe in will change once you put the wheels on it and put it on the ground
