Installed an adapter to replace the dead battery on my old Dyson vacuum, came from Australia, clearly 3D printed, it adapts the vacuum to use the same battery as my Makita drill. Pretty sweet for ~40 bucks and now I can vacuum the entire place on one charge.

So, I was talking with mom about my profession and we bounced on a tangent about my dad because we were in the same profession.

She says before your father retired, in that office he was the HNIC. I asked her what's an HNIC? The head nigga in charge! I've never heard that before. Apparently it's an old-timey term from a movie I've also never heard of. But we also have almost 4 decades between us, so... different time.

I find funny stuff almost every day to laugh at to keep levity in my life no matter what's going on but I haven't laughed that hard in quite awhile. Not even at videos of raccoons.
