Just got my Flu and Covid shots.

At 69 it is a no brainer.

I didn't start to regularly get the Flu shot until about age 60 or so.

I never choose to get the flu shot. My employer suggested strongly that I get my COVID shot and I did all those years ago.

At the same time though? Bold. I did that last year and I was definitely feeling off for a day. I think I'll try to space them out this year.

I really wanted to go get cheap gas at Costco but then it is so far and so many minutes...

Grr

So instead I said f it and I just dropped the car somewhere and started walking and posting on the internet for my cell phone (as if I'm at home) :wow : |

So I went outside, and I saw this

NOSTALGIA!

And then I saw a guy sparring with himself/boxing in the air,.in a parking lot. Then he did a 2 blocks lap, running.

:dunno

Haha. Yeah simply the brand inscribed on the door is "Nostalgia" but I thought it's a funny device, it has a brewer, seemingly toaster oven and seemingly a sizzler Teflon burner plate ..with a glass cover to the side !

I have a friend who died of swine flu in 2013. I get it every year now.

COVID? After the initial two shots I have opted not to get boosted. The PE that resulted from that shot almost killed me.

FWIW, to be balanced, my dad died of COVID in 2021. I had it in 2022. Did not die. So it might not make total sense but there you have it.

I'm patient zero.

Friends that had COVID I interacted with (before COVID restrictions were as strict as they were), my roommate caught it. We distanced ourselves from each other as best as we could for two people living in the same home. Grocery stores... Even concerts where you had to have proof of either being vaccinated or a negative test. Every time I was in any kind of situation, no matter how careful I was being, I always took a test after.

All of them came up negative. No COVID ever. Donate my body and brain for scientists to study when I'm dead. Something's going on here with me, probably the same reason why everyone I meet thinks I'm in my mid 20s when I'm knocking on the door of 40.

I'm fucking immortal, y'all.
