Our oldest daughter went to a party with her roommate tonight and ended up having some kind of medical event, possibly seizure. No drugs/alcohol. So I'm currently sitting in the car around the corner from SF Kaiser emergency while my wife is in with her. Although I guess the DR just kicked her back out to the waiting room. We were at a party in Lafayette and just getting ready to go home when the call came in so I hauled ass out to SF. I've been up since 6 am and I just want to go to bed
 
Oh shit, hope your daughter is ok and you can get some sleep soon.

Just got home myself, tried to pop into Zeitgeist on the wall but they'd called last call already and the person at the door didn't recognize me in my work form 😆
 
I think she's doing ok now. She's waiting for a doctor to talk to her

parenting is a damn tough job!

re: christmas, bah humbug! i just wanna ride marin, eat pancakes, and finish with chinese food on christmas. i have some traumatic memories associated with that time of year. i always wish i could fast forward through it.
 
It is a strange and stressful time of the year for many.
Please do consider using your most excellent coping skills during that time of year.
 
i just decline all the christmas things.

this year my goal is to spend it in sf, doing the christmas morning ride with my smr fam, and not getting into the commercial or religious aspects. it’ll bother my mom but i don’t care. my roomie feels the same about christmas as i do so…

Obviously (!) do not call me , kid, but yeah.. more partying was had than I personally expected… after I ran into some other parents :laughing (what’s up with those wackos still doing jelly shots?)

Btw: obvs , walking. Good to have a neighborhood…man, some people are tight.

i still get called kiddo and it cracks me up. (but very few people get that privilege)
