what the AF went "wrong" in the oil "scam" thread (because it seems it was NOTHING went wrong) ... and why was someone talking smack so much?!? so weird. As if someone was drunk half of the time

So here at my new home, my bathroom has a window in it. Why the hell would want a window in a bathroom?

Same bathroom also has a dog/cat door. I would feel weird if I was sitting on the toilet and my cat or dog walked in. Or how about some random stray cat or dog? That would be weird.

Whoever designed this house probably lives in a house that has a well in the basement and their favorite movie is Silence of the Lambs.
 
The only time I've seen a window in a bathroom is in public bathrooms.

I'm not talking about windows near the top of a shower. It's about a 2'X4' window on the wall with a sill and blinds. That ain't normal. The silly thing is that the view is just the brick wall between my house and the neighbor's. It's really beautiful...

windows on bathrooms.. even public ones, are not installed for the view... SPEAKING of which, I can't recall seeing a window in... a public bathroom in SF 😄

it's for ventilation . nothing special about them windows.


but yeah, one of the funniest ones is my friends' house in Santa Rosa, it literally points to the wall and maybe interior garage-driveway of the other side house....

... which is why those windows are usually frosted. : |
 
need to repair my bathroom window. The one that fell.

Was trying to make a plan how to disassemble it last night, in my mind. Both side roll-hangers are broken, they need to be replaced. Not even sure how much that would cost. Probably at least triple.
 
I remember a bathroom once, in an office building in Kyoto, Japan. Above each urinal there was an open window where you had a beautiful view of the city and countryside plus it allowed snow flakes to drift in and melt on one’s face. All while taking a piss. I lingered a while.
