i have this set up. it’s nice for longer outages but if you get a generator i’d recommend you also get a transfer switch wired up so you can easily use the juice generated.Well the big storm out here blew our power grid so I stayed at a hotel last night. Did not get too much sleep and now I am thinking about calling in sick.
My beau thinks i should get a small generator.

I do not want to be a part of Xmas sweater competition because I will win. (Well, I will in my mind regardless of whatever the fuck anyone says)

The internet is rearing its ugly head alreadyblew our power grid

As a home owner PG&E was offering installation to connect a generator to your home grid. You have to manually start and stop it but all you have to do is plug it in.Well the big storm out here blew our power grid so I stayed at a hotel last night. Did not get too much sleep and now I am thinking about calling in sick.
My beau thinks i should get a small generator.
Is that so they can charge you for the power you generate? Now PG&E offers a generator connection that's integrated into the meter base itself.

I believe it's so that the home owners generator disconnects from the grid instead of feeding juice back into the grid which has been problematic..Is that so they can charge you for the power you generate?![]()
