OK the snow is really messing things up, I really wanna click on it. about to go turn it off!!!

Good. Morning! Have water work today ick icck lck

Coffee time. Debating if I get my hair cut before work today or if I'm better off with shaggy hair given the chilly temps as of late. Also, having this low paying job is definitely motivating me to look harder for a better job. Kinda sucks to spend 40 hours a week working only to still be in the red.

Well that's a powerful realisation.

I'm having my own doubts whether to bring the 64'000 miles' car to the service, because "something is shifting" when I press the gas and brake repeatedly. I shit you not but it feels like a subframe bolt is loose, or the T-bone subframe mount has broken. Very scared, but aso don't want to give $$$ :(

Well think of it like this: You can earn a maximum of four Social Security credits in a single year, which requires $7,240 in earnings ($1,810 x 4).
There, bet ya feel better now! :)

Better to fix the problem now before something gives and the problem becomes more expensive I guess. This coming from the guy who has yet to do his timing belt...

:laughing I would if I had any faith of there being social security by the time I'm old enough to collect...

Dropped it off. The "diagnostics" fee has increased by 10% since exactly 7.5 months ago when I replaced all brakes and tires there... Yay me for not going sooner

:x not that I know anything about that 😕

But I hear that if the belt breaks at least you can coast unlike with a brake or bolt problem

It's a manual, so yeah, I can push in the clutch and cost, but the motor would be dead, so I really should do something about that.

if you want I'll ask about replacing the belt on that engine at the shop I'll probably go to within the next 4/24 .

at least you can muni home from it... or go to an irish bar. :D :laughing

If they can manage the belt on a TDI that'd be good info.

As for that car, I'm guess the motor is carbureted...

Imma talk to them f2f tomorrow, they called back. Turns out I have both tearing mounts .. and a "something coming from the" transmission ..

so I decided only on doing "transmission service", instead of doing all three mounts as well .

b/c with the mounts they quoted slightly above 2k :( because they're expensive parts, most of it.. .. and labor :(

---
because I didnt' want to spend all the moneys :(

also zoomed in on the car more. :
