Taking the pup to the gun range this morning to get used to the noise. Meeting my brother there... he's shooting, I'm not. Bruno and I will sit in the truck w/ the windows up and the radio on to start. Depending on how he reacts, maybe end up taking a walk around the parking lot and/or sit on the tailgate.

Then I gotta figure out a way to get my wife a xmas tree that he won't knock down, drag outside and shake. :facepalm

When I trained my labs for hunting I used food / Snacks. Had a starter pistol and would throw down their food and shoot the gun. It only took a few moments to totally ignore it and grab the grub. Don't forget the distracting treats! Have fun.

Joy is good around guns Tracker is ok around small caliber but break out anything over 38 and he hides.

i’m about ready to cut a coworker of my roomie because he has two of my jars.
 
yes missing two mason jars as well. I’ve given her at least two: but made sure the last one said Kerr on the jar, bc I hate the name :rofl .. as compared to .. Ball 🏀

But crisis averted. Had new ball mason hidden in a cupboard…turns out they have American flag packaging and have a star with stripes on the glass, where other Ball have berries 🤪 so Texan schmexan
 
I was gonna not be a late riser but since I am not in bed until 1am with a little time needed after that to doze off, I sleep when I sleep.
