Final break at work block
So today/tonight was my mom's birthday and I told y'all my brother and girlfriend will be here.
And I said I'd be on my best behavior because it is her birthday.
It worked out as best as I think could be expected.
I ended up talking with his girlfriend Sara most of the night because we had SO much in common while my brother was talking with my mom most of the night.
Me and mom talked face to face about many things later in the night, mostly good, but I told her this night changes nothing. I don't want my brother in my life. And his girlfriend Sara? As much as I loved our conversation, I thought "you deserve better" the same way my brother's last ex Stephanie joked with me "maybe I dated the wrong brother." I never did or said anything like I was trying to steal my brother's girl. I'm not a selfish narcissist, I can't do that.
At the end of the night, Sara had to shuffle him out of the door and into the car to go home.

I kinda feel like a chump. My brother did exactly what I expected him to do and act like we are in good graces. And I allowed it because I saw how happy my mom was. I was never going to ruin her birthday no matter what. She calls herself 75 +1, not 76.
Even though in the multiverse, this was probably the best outcome of tonight's dinner and I still meant what I said, it was not fair to set me up in a situation that was just going end up in me being mad at both of them. Sara was the key to wrangle me back in.

I don't know what to do with this. I haven't really cared much about holidays in past years but my brother's girlfriend inviting me and my mom to Christmas, I feel like a landmine I don't wanna step on.
Watching Iron Man 3, my favorite Christmas movie, and Christmas episodes of some of my favorite shows might be a safer option.

About the cold in (some parts of) SF, basically I realized what it reminds me of . Of the cold --in winter, with snow, on the Old Continent--when it's snowing OR has snowed but it's just about warmer, so the snow is melting but it's freezing ..

i just bought it a few months ago. my last battery lasted 12 years…. i rarely make short trips and almost 100% of my driving is highway miles.has trickle charger?
