Thought expriment...


The older kid got his Moto license (oh hey Kyle) and we picked up this Ninjette in June of last year.

He spent some time and $$ trying to get it running on his own, cleaned the carb, replaced jets, all that stuff. Got it to run and idle but not actually rideable. Spent another couple few hundred to have a shop get it dialed in. Rode it for a year or so. Predictably dropped it a few times but then had a slightly worse get off when he got cut off, dented tank, busted up plastics, etc etc. In theory we could ebay a tank and some generic plastics for a few hundred but now I'm really eyeballing that SV650S that was just posted. Personally I love the SVs and I think the engine is fucking perfect for almost everything and doesn't have to rev like crazy to putt around town.

I'm tempted to offer to "share" it with him, and just front the $$ and make him give me back whatever he can get from the 250. lol
