Laguna is an old stream bed and a low point for the combined rain-runoff/sewer system. I would not want to be there .. the drains/manhole can turn into extreme fountains.

in 86 I rebuilt the SU carbs on my 71 Datsun 510 but it ran like sheet. I was at the CCC training center outside Angels Camp. I decided to drive to Chico over the weekend to the shop that sold me the rebuild kit, he also sold me the 1800 SSS engine, that's why the SU carbs, and the 240SX 5 speed attached to it. Leaving the training center on this back road I came upon a large flooded section of road. I had lowered the 510 2 inches so the water obstacle was a cause for nervousness. I backed up as far as I could and gunned through 3 gears and hit the water, kept it gunned and made it. I don't know if my tires were even on the pavement. 86 was a major flood year in Kali.

It turned out the rebuild kit had the wrong needles in it.
 
Trailer is clean and cozy. Dogs were thoroughly toweled and brushed. Have them settled into a routine where they know niot to go past the kitchen without paw and body wipe down.
