Post / Chat whores post here (2026)

I'm not terribly far from El Sobrante but I'm working today :cry
Okay. I asked a couple of friends. They’re all in your same working boat. I’m gonna see if he’ll take Zelle so I can at least hold the suit until a buddy can grab it.

not far from El Sob. what's gotta happen? got a D&D game in Richmond view, I'll be tied up from 12:30 till 4:30.

Asshole robo cab is blocking a stop sign and a lane near me for the last 10-15 minutes. Many honks so.far, one from a bus and big hauling truck

Is there a PICS page yet?
I just moved it to MotoPhotos.
I decided to chill today as walking in moto boots wore out the muscle that covers the bolt that goes thru the femur into my hip. Yesterday. The extra weight is not good.

Saving my leg for walking to dinner.

I am officially concerned about trying to ride to the Hoho. Even a 1/2 mile walk to get brekkie was skipped this AM. Just the task of getting water, Gatorade or whatever skipped.

Thanks to some help from Motoproponant I did get coffee and a breakfast sammich.

Can the robocab hear the honks?
Do they have a sensor inside that can read The honks and reply with an appropriate middle finger LED light?
yeah, they definitely can.

they move over after honks. In fact, some time ago, it was Curise, that started this, if you honk (or maybe even tailgate!!!) they pull-over. Unsure about the waymos right now.

this one, was of course, bricked, with hazards, so it didn't move.

enjoyed the pics from the current rally (in the other thread, which I found out from Budman and Lo-ster above)

they always shine some BS light. if you're a nerd an esteemed IT worker hell-bent on whitewashing robocars you might actually know what the signs on top mean (one of them means "a pedestrian is crossing")

so this car got moved away after 20+ minutes as far as I can see. I actually saw it move in reverse right before it left.... it sure feels like someone started controlling it removetely! The thing is it wasn't blocked by anyone, not even crossed the white line of the STOP sign, so not sure why it had to go back... maybe someone wanted to see visibility from the cameras. Then it rolled off slowly past the stop sign (technically without stopping) and drove off after a slow turn...

You need an assistant.
I am volunteering for the HoHo, from Fort Bragg until you leave Weaverville on Sunday.
Errand Boy is on the job.

Kind of you Lonster.

A few folks have come to my aid here one way or another. It takes a village. :laughing

When I broke my back, it was crazy how long it took me to do even the most basic things. Like walking 2 blocks.
I'm serious though. I'm here for you Bud.

Being hurt is a challenge of patience for sure.
Just getting my riding boot on requires patience but riding feels unbridled except for dealing with slopes on stops.

Extreme focus. Getting gas up here was just that. Sort of built into a hill. I had to survey the routes possible leaving intently to determine which spot was the safest to stop at to get on the road.

No real driveways.

Hey man: I drove last year and you know I’m rabid to ride. Whatever gets your face there makes me happy.

I was kinda the opposite with the hip replacement. Before it got replaced I could walk maybe 4 blocks with out a cane and then I was done. Once the hip got replaced I was walking a mile easy within 8 weeks. Not being able to walk at least a mile sucks but if I have a cane I could go further.
