Post your dog pics!

I found that the Klingon Language is gutteral and hard like German can be and more fun to use because people go WTF.

IRRRICCCHH JOK JOSH!! with the right inflection has them all coming over and sitting except Louie if he is snoozing in his spot. He knows I am not talking to him I guess. :laughing

A random Trekkie taught it to me and I happened to use it in the house and both dogs immediately paid full attention. Then started to apply it with a couple other similar commands. Pretty fun.

Annoys the wife because the dogs ignore her female take. She has always been to nice so why should they listen. I tried to get her to use proper commands early in training and she is just a softy.
Funny, my sister and her husband named their cat Saj Jup which is Klingon for Pet Friend... They would call him in from outside every night and everyone in the neighborhood would hear them.

In other news, Jax just has to sit on top of the pillows..

We survived Turkey Dog Day.

Summary:
A lot of energy, one scuffle, some stolen pieces of bread by the nefarious bread thief Louie and Cooper had to be on a leash at times to halt her food lust and crated when we ate. Charlie warmed up to me and I was rubbing his belly etc. a break through there.

Not much Klingon needed. :laughing

Was not a disaster so.... we live another day.

Both of my beagles would eat anything that was unattended. Once, Sophie ate a whole stick of butter. Another time she snagged a wedge of cheese from the dining room table. Wax and all. The next day her poop was bright red.

And Gracie thoroughly enjoyed fresh cherry tomatoes off the vine. We had to erect a fence around the plants or she would eat them all. It was a trip to see her delicately pluck them off the vine and gobble them up.

Beagles be food whores for sure.
I swear Louie and Cooper work together.

Cooper can reach anything in the kitchen. Louie can surf the edges of the counter. I respect their right to DOG, so not an end of life deal when they score.

Yep. Just so long as they don’t snag anything that’s bad for them. Before we learned that grapes aren’t good for dogs, we used to toss them a grape or two. The first time Sophie ate a grape, she seemed to be chewing on it for 20 minutes or so. Then she spit it out and we were surprised that there wasn’t a single mark on the grape. After a while of her staring at it, she put it in her mouth again and repeated the process. It would often take as much as an hour for her to eat just one grape. Funny dog.

So I climb in my friends less than a year old Ford F250 and the interiors has some severe damage. I look at my friend~ friend telling me this story: "how the dog and I did a thousand dollars damage to the F250.’
‘Saturday morning/ took the family dog (a well behaved 12 month old pit bull pup 60 pounds) along to fuel the diesel truck.
I mistakenly left the keys on the seat in the truck. Normally the dog stays in the passenger seat while I fuel.
Not sure what distracted him/the …dog came to the driver side and stepped on the arm rest door lock button;
—————————
After 30+ minutes of My attempt to teach the dog to unlock the truck, a combination of people accumulating, the store manager wanting the truck moved, me continuing pointing at the door lock button and the dog not understanding;

... all of a sudden the dog started chewing the door trim, armrest and shredding the steering wheel, so I broke the trucks window and .. all went back to normal!

This is my life! Because the dogs are black and the kitty is a tux I can’t get a great photo.

Meet "Cove", the newest member of my Daughter's family. Cove is an Old English name meaning bold, courageous. He's a Belgian Malinois and German Shepard mix that was a rescue pup at ~6 weeks. He's 15 weeks now and doubled in size. The other two, Copper (3-1/2yr, F) and Kingston (14yr, M) are Bostons. King is blind and getting hard of hearing AND is Lord of the Manor! Their favorite spot after a long hard day. Copper and Cove are best buddies, but Copper is pissed 'cause Cove was chipped and snipped this past Wednesday and they can't get wild and crazy. :laughing
