Our dog was borderline uncontrollable when we'd go out to the river for the day. When we got close, it was just better to let him out to run alongside the car than keep him inside with us. He loved the river, would swim until he was utterly exhausted.

I can relate to this. Our dogs know their spots. The creek is their favorite and anytime we are headed in that direction there is no calming them.
 
The wife had sent me a selfie a month ago and it was a nice pic so yesterday I went to save it.

Opening on the computer I noted a photo bomb... So of course I have to have some fun with it.

Tracker channeled his inner wolf and knocked me off my motorcycle last weekend. I was in my swimsuit and flip flops, guess he thought I was an antelope or something. sigh. What's black and blue and bloody all over. I'll have to post pics in the pets being assholes thread.
 
Remi came on staff one year ago today. She's makes every day better.

Is anyone looking for an incredible well bred dog? The breeder who created Joy and fostered Tracker to us had a bad accident this year. He is seeking homes or fosters for Joy’s mother 5 1/2 years and Joy’s sister. 17 months. Both dogs are all black Czech sourced shepherds. Either dog will need training. The mom Cinderella is underweight. She has been running the household and all his dogs and would do well with some pampering. Jasmin, the pup is all black and strong willed. Both dogs are incredibly sweet and affectionate. My kids in picture.
